It's been a month and nobody has answered you about "Las Vegas."  I'm not surprised, as I started a thread about "Wipeout!" and I got the same treatment.  It's such a great show, I know people are watching, but it's like they won't admit it for some reason!  I bring it up everywhere I go, at parties, with co-workers around the water cooler, at the gym, the bar... everybody just looks at me like I'm nuts or something!  I just don't get it.

Now "Family Guy," that's a great show too!

Mighty heavy words from your grand daddy Ms Dee; nice seeing you on the board.

Gran'pa was a man of few words, and being 6'6" when he did speak people usually listened to him!

It's good to be seen Dave! I've been pretty ill. Had a couple of bad heart attacks then a bout of skin cancer. Now I'm dealing with my asthma moving on to emphysema...  Things like that tend to put things in perspective for you, ya know? I'm feeling much better now.  The nice weather helps a lot but the triple digits really lay me low!

I think the WORST thing I've had to deal with has been the long drawn out death of my much beloved Mac laptop.  Just at the last possible moment before my Mac completely went belly up for the last time I got the most amazing deal (OK... read, insane, copmletely bizarre,  TOTALLY unbelieveable, wacky-nuts deal) on this 2.14 GigHtz Compaq! Drop me a line through my profile here and I'll  write you back and tell you all about it and fill you in. I lost your addy some 5 or 6 catastrophic crashes ago!

[Added on edit] It only takes NOT backing up your addys ONCE to really ruin your life!

I know what you went through losing your laptop. I had a laptop I used for the duration of the earlier years on this forum; an IBM T20. If you can find the exact make and model that broke, pulling the hard drive out of the old one and placing it in the one that works puts you back in business including your old screen.

I haven’t had any medical problems but I can sure empathize with yours; when it’s hard to breath nothing else matters. At sixty four I ride a bike, maybe that helps stave off medical problems. I know one thing is pretty certain if one lives long enough medical problems will come at some point.

Maybe you can give me the name of your website as it was lost in the aforementioned laptop.
