They will not call it the peripheral canal because the voters turned that down some years ago. Lesson learned should be, "Never Vote For An Incumbent." Never! None of them, Never!

denis, you conveniently neglected to identify this disasterous bill. what are you doing? the bill is SB7X 1, and it was put into the hopper be a dem state sen from palo alto, joe simitian. real cost will be $15-16 billion, they'll come back for more funding, guaranteed. another huge slice of corporate welfare for socal real estate interests and central valley mega-farms.
