Just out this morning the liberal lulus are at it again trying to put more taxes on the backs of the middle class to try and fufill a Utopian dream of healthcare for all, including free health care for the 26,000,000,000 million Illegal aliens that have invaded the US.
As always the economically challenged Liberal Politicians feel that peope will willingly pay more taxes to help others ??? Even during Americas worst depression with businesses going belly up each day....
This will only curtail the purchase of burgers and sodas causing more businesses to fold, and more small businesses to lay off those at the bottom financially. Adding to the Unemployment roles.
The liberals point to Obesity in America?? and want to further control the populace. They love to control taxpayers but loath controlling their spending or controlling a budget each year!!
Why dont they charge the Obese, smokers, and drinkers more for Healthcare premiums?? That would make to much sense for a liberal.
"Liberalism truelly is a mental disorder."
The same folks moving America to Socialism....one idiotic tax bill at a time.

As a cigarette smoker I'm already paying a very large health care tax.At least that was the excuse we were given several years ago.I've yet to see anything other than tax after tax after tax.Heck, come to think about it next month my cigarettes are going up another $1.50 a pack, because I'm not paying enough health tax. Before anyone pays anymore taxes on health care, shouldn't I be getting the best health care my cigarette taxes are paying for right now? Because to tell you the honest truth, I'm not getting [bleep]! And neither is any other cigarette smoker who's paying special taxes. How can the Cheeseburger and soda consumers expect anything different from this Government? Who's next? Toilet paper users? Where does it end?

The little bit extra you and others are paying for cigarettes doesn't even come close to the cost to society for the care your going need while prematurely dyng of lung cancer or heart diseased. I like "pay as you go." Just consider that tax as a prepayment on all the extraordinary care you will require.
If you have good insurance you are causing my premiums to be higher than they would be if you and America didn't smoke.
I'm sorry you are stuck on cigarettes; they are killing you. Choose life instead. A number of my friends have quit smoking - it works.

You should keep your 1.50 per pack, but then when you get lung cancer and your insurance company finds a way to dump you, you should pay the $8,000 a month chemo to keep you alive.

I dont understand why people need Government to take care of them. I dont have health care, I am middle class! Look, if your a bank, and someone wants a 5 million dollar loan but has gone bankrupt twice, YOU DENY THE LOAN. COMMON SENSE!!! This is no different. You would deny your own father if he borrowed 30,000 twice from you and went bankrupt. This is a joke. Fix social security, fix medicare/medicade. Then come asking for more money. Its not Obama, or Bush, or Clinton. Its government! Its not even about health care is much as it is you answering to the government, instead of them answering to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sadly, Most people do not understand the reality of the health care system untill it is too late. Once you get an illness that requires heavy expenses like cancer, you insurance company will look for ways how to dump you or what is worst, delay your care to the point that it will shorten your life. For example, if they find cancer at stage 1, they may delay your care untill your cancer it is stage 4. That is if they don't find a way to dump you or increase your premioums in a way that you cannot longer pay. If you get treatment in stage 4 cancer, somtimes runs about 10k a month, they will be there maybe for a year or 2 and then you may die. They might tell you that at this stage there is nothing to do and they will not fund your care because it is terminal and you have 6 months to live, if you are lucky. But if they were diligent and get it early, it is more expensive for them to give you a lifetime of care.
That is why there is tortuos denial of insurance claims, but what good it does to you once you are dead?
I am not iventing these things. i dont know if you can google this, but if you use lexis or westlaw, you can find cases like this.

As far as I'm concerned, the issue is reform - not wholesale reinvention of the wheel.
We have to look at what's really broken and fix it - ie, tort reform and marketing of health care/insurance across state lines. We don't need the gov't REQUIRING us to take their plan - especially when there's no way to pay for it...... other than the old saw of "taxing the rich."
Trying to ram through a bill of 2000 +/- pages of which no one person has read and completely understands - and limiting the input of the voters - and passing it on a weekend evening - is the height of arrogance. This administration promised transparency and openness - neither of which we've gotten.
While our existing health care system isn't perfect, it's better than most..... but getting the gov't bureaucracy in the middle of it sure won't improve it.
