Hey everyone,
I'm writing a story for next week about it being the 10th anniversary of the murder of 15-year old Lisa Norrell. For those who forgot or are new to Pittsburg, Norrell was found dead of asphyxiation Nov.14, 1998 outside a landscaping business on Pittsburg-Antioch Highway. She had last been seen a week before, leaving a friend's quinceanera practice and walking on Pittsburg-Antioch Highway. Police are still searching for her killer.
Her mother Minnie Norrell and friends are planning on having a candlelight vigil next Wednesday evening. I just wanted to get that out in case anyone wanted to post memories of her, any thoughts about the case, anything to say to the Norrell family.

I remember Lisa every day. Probably even more so now that they might be re-opening her investigation. I miss her. And I wish I could have been there for the recent vigil and for the 10 year anniversary. I am stuck in Colorado and I am glued to the coverage in the Dugard case to the point where I have developed an unhealthy obsession. I can only hope, if the same guy is responsible for Lisa's death, that it brings some sort of resolvement and closure to all of us who miss her dearly and that justice is served.

I hope the police question this guy that kidnapped Jaycee Dugard and his wife too about Lisa Norell. Maybe they had something to do with her murder??? Just a thought! Where were they what were they doing around that time???

I spoke with Minnie Norrell this week and she wanted me to find some way to mentioned that there is still a reward out there of...I think $60,000 but will double check...for information leading to an arrest in the Lisa Norrell case. She hopes the renewed interest leads to solving the case.
