So while on my way to work on Saturday afternoon I stopped by "Lucy's Asian Bistro" to pick up some food for dinner later that night. (I've found it's hard to find good Chinese food on the peninsula late at night and I have a weakness for Lucy's beef chow mein)

To my surprise Lucy tells me they're closing the doors forever effective July 1. She told me the rent had skyrocketed for their space and coupled with the downturn in business she and her family just couldn't continue to survive.

I wanted to take a second and give a big thanks to Lucy and her family for providing, as far as I'm concerned, a great restaurant to our community. You will be missed by more people than you will ever know. I hope nothing but the best in the future for you and your family.
