what is going on in antioch...?
just heard the sirense, several of them, then 3 crash sounds. jumped in my car....on mahogany, by mcdonald, a street light on the side walk, and across from mcdonald a white pickup truck against a tree. i don't know how many cop cars, and a ambulance+fire truck.
the cops searching the apartment complex, cops also on sycamore. a helicopter in the air.
it lookc like the person got away, i hope the apd will catch him/ her.

The SO was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle that crashed and the suspects bailed. Both suspects are in custody. Just after 2300 there was an armed robbery at the pizza guys on Sycamore and that's what APD and STARR 2 are looking for. Just heard APD gave up the search. APD was able to manage 1 arrest from the robbery but 1 still outstanding.

i was on the scanner and it said they both are in custody both wearing black hoodies with blue bandana covering face, one weapon recovered 45 semi-automatic pistol.
since the helicopter was in the air already the APD took advantage for them to check other areas as a routine.

Thermal imaging helps deputies nab car theft suspect

BAY POINT — A sheriff's helicopter used thermal imaging to find a car theft suspect who led police on a chase from Bay Point to Antioch that ended when he crashed into a light pole, the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office said.
Sheriff's deputies spotted a stolen vehicle traveling near Canal and Bailey roads about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday. When they tried to stop it, the vehicle sped away, said sheriff's spokesman Jimmy Lee.
Deputies followed in a pursuit that went through Pittsburg and into Antioch, where the vehicle crashed into the Loew's parking lot near Mahogany Way and Auto Center Drive, taking down a light pole, Lee said. The male suspect got out of the car and ran into a nearby neighborhood.
Authorities searched the area for the man and summoned STARR 2, a sheriff's air unit, which used a thermal imaging camera to track a heat source that was likely the suspect's, Lee said. Using information from the air unit, deputies went to an apartment balcony, where with the help of a police dog they apprehended the suspect.
Deangelo Boone, 27, was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft, evasion, possession of stolen property and a parole violation. He was treated for a dog bite at a hospital and then taken to County Jail in Martinez where he was held without bail.

oh well the one im talking about is Pizza guys Robbery that happened last night...i believe in karma, so the store owner of Pizza Guys got what he deserved. he treats/treated his employees like crap, swearing at them, he of course is Indian with the dot, all he cares about is his money, and it shows!

Before all this happened there was an attempted rape in the parking lot of Romi's or Rommis? on East 18th and Cavallo and an armed robbery at the T'Bones restaurant in Bay Point where someone was also pistol whipped. After the Bay Point chase and the robbery at Pizza Guy's, is this when the juvenile males robbed the convinence stores?
