It is time to enforce the 2nd ammentment, lets have Conceal weapons permits. That way, hoodlooms will think about it twice before assaulting law abidding people.

Dream on with your fantasy.FACT.Ive tried.Sheriff Rupfs attitude is:Not only no but HELL NO.Nobody gets a permit in CC or most other counties in CA unless your a Politician, Celebrity or contribute heavily to the sheriffs election campaign.So, if you’re concerned about your safety, do as I do and just say Screw the law. Carry without a permit.Remember the adage:“Better tried by 12 than carried by 6” And then consider:“When Seconds count, the police are only MINUTES away”.And finally:“A good reason to carry a gun is a cop is too heavy”.
Of course i know how this system works. But i believe that it is time to, elect candidates that will support CCW, the city can issue them too. So lets get a a city Council and A 2nd Ammendment friendly mayor, the current one does not care at all.

ABSOLUTELY! Been voting that way for years. And besides voting in PRO 2nd Amd city council members, we must VOTE OUT ANTI 2nd Amd. Sheriff Warren Rupf, and County supervisors of similar politics.
Re: Police chiefs: Unfortunately few in CA support the intent of the 2nd Amd. And they're not elected, therefore not subject to electoral pressure. We need to concentrate on getting rid of people like Sheriff Rupf and County supervisors who share his views re CCW permits.
Note that with the US economy in rapid melt down, this type of street crime WILL continue to escalate.Few of us will be safe, and police will be powerless to help other than take a report AFTER THE FACT. You'll become just one more unfortunate crime statistic.

You are so right, more Low inome apatments, so they can be filled up by the hoods and child molesters.
