buick, I still question doing this tomorrow. The council meeting is NEXT Tuesday. Several of us have asked you about this but you have not answered us.

You're absolutely right Luke. Now if noone shows, it's going to show them we can't even get organized enough to get our days and time straight. Buick, when is the protest meeting?
I wish I had a nickel for everytime I've shown up for a grassroots protest and there was nobody else there but me. You can't even complain to anybody when you're the only one there. I wonder sometimes if they are all just cruel jokes played on unsuspecting fools?
That's kind of why I'd rather go to a neighborhood clean-up. At least you know they are legit and there will be other people there. Except that time it rained and I couldn't find anybody.

buick, you really need to reschedule this for Tuesday, July 28th when the Council will be meeting next.
And I wouldn't make it for 4pm. Have the rally start ONE HOUR before the Council meets, so that we can fill the Council chambers after the rally!
And, a rally should have speakers, so consider former Mayor Don Freitas to speak and members of the Police Crime Prevention Commission (but not in their commission shirts/jackets, please).

buick, you're great. I can check with Don. Hans would be great also.
But why not start a new Forum item listing the rally for July 28th. Once we know the Council agenda (whether they'll start at the normal 7pm or earlier at 6pm) you can then let everyone know the start time.

4Antioch your a big help,we have never done this before. we feel that we all need to let them know we suport our police and we cant lose any or antioch will go down and no return. so many people said they wilol leave antioch. i will keep in touch. we will take care of that tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice,i just hope everbody will see the change, i will talk to hans ho to see if he can speak. and don freitas he doesnt care for me, but i am not sure how to get in touch with him.do you know how i can? i think this plan is better so it will be the 28th ONE HOUR BEFORE THE MEETING. hope to see you.
