Sex offenders are not the only problem in Martinez. It seems as though it has become a safe haven for drug dealers, addicts, sex offenders, and thugs. What has happened to the downtown area? It seems that the individuals let out of the county jail don't leave town. Martinez residents could be sitting on the gem of the bay area and maintaing property values. Instead they are letting the small city deterioate.
