Hey everyone, the county's Public Works department is looking at a project to add medians, prohibit u-turns, and provide left-turn lanes where feasible on Willow Pass Road from Manor Drive to Solano Avenue. The reason is to prevent accidents and broadside collisions. A public meeting will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Ambrose Community Center. My question, do you think this is a good idea or bad idea for Bay Point?

Contra Costa County Public Works will be issuing the answers to the questions submitted to them at the April 7 community meeting via email or address. Your concerns about the medians were heard loud and clear. As a follow-up, Supervisor Glover will be holding a Town Hall on the Willow Pass Road Safety Improvements on June 4, 7 p.m. at the Ambrose Center where Public Works will be presenting their new proposal. Please plan on attending.
