The real issue is moving the slime from place to place. However I feel there are a lot that believe accusations after the offenders died is suspect. Lets face it the Catholic Church is a great financial target. In every aspect of life for all times sex and the manner of it has been sensationalized. Like say the women that were stoned to death for being sex victims. Pedophilia is pedophilia and those Priests should have been castrated to remain clergy in the Catholic Church (CC) after all they are suppose to be celibate anyway. The real issue is the good old boys club of the CC not reforming. Just sweep the problems under the Vatican carpet. Now a new Pope in office that is archaeic in all the issues that would benefit the CC and increase devotion and membership. So many people I know have left the CC due to the inability to develop Standards that are reasonably contemporary. I do not know a single sexually active Catholic woman under age 60 that does not ignore the CC rules of sexual engagement such as pre-marital sex, birth control or even God forgive (not forbid) abortion. Signed A not so good Catholic Girl
Politicians, Dirty Uncles, creepy brothers of friends, Sissies, Sex scandals will always will be around. People in positions of power will always abuse it. It just so happens that there is a substantial platform to profit from litagation here. From the weekly tallies of the amounts of monetary donations at my CC parish the name should be changed to Perish.
If our Catholic High Schools are so bad then why are they overfilled with non-catholic children?
