YAY! I felt like such a dummy before, because I didn't know how to make the font bold. If I can figure out how to send e-mails to fellow posters I might feel smart. =^-^=
Tin Roof, I think it doesn't show it on your avatar because you can't contact yourself. I thought the same thing when I saw mine, but I am looking at your avatar right now and it says contact underneath it.
I think if Stoney4 changed his name to Stoney5 to try and hide his old identity, he would out himself anyway the first time he heard a boombox go by.
So we can't contact ourselves, huh? Shoot, I was going to send myself an email notification about all the new great forum changes. LOL!
I see a "contact" under your avatar. You won't see "contact" under your avatar if you're looking at your own post. You haven't been singled out for punishment!

I think something's missing here folks. How 'bout THANKS? This is a free service after all. They didn't have to do this.
Thank you CC Moderators. We appreciate your efforts.
You're just tooo clever, BJ!
Great that the Board finally listend to our wants and wishes regarding the NEW FORUMS. They've added features I and others have been complaing about the lack of since the change-over. Probably too late to keep alot of the original posters here, though. We've lost alot of great posters to their NEW AND IMPROVED format. Maybe now they'll sneak back?

Hey, I got an email notification that said this:
Read More: http://forums.contracostatimes.com/topic/new-options-and-features#commen...Comment Subject:Ohso, you magnificent beast,
I don't recall signing up for notification whenever Ohso exchanges love letters with people!!!! Yuck! And people thought the sound of spam cheesecake was bad!
Please don't wish for that. If we could edit posts after they have been responded to, then it makes the responder look like a fool for his/her comment. As a responder I would be copy and pasting original posts again.
Yeah, maybe you're right. If you point out something someone wrote they could go back, cover their tracks and say "prove it".
It would still be nice to have the option to delete an entire post if you wanted to in case you post something that when you read it the next day after your shock therapy, you wish you hadn't said it.

That's when you switch your screen name from Stoney4 to Stoney5 so that nobody recognizes you.
I turned off all e-mail notifications for the forums. My mailbox was getting too full. There's nothing on the forums that can't wait till I have time to check "Recent Posts"
