What is irresponsible Mr. Steinberg, is your partys' wreckless spending over the years that has BANKRUPTED the once Golden State.

Don't forget to include the Republican's now, they're just as much to blame. They've had enough votes in both houses of the Legislature since at least 1997 to block any "irresponsible" budgets, instead they OK'd it and just ran up the debt (as Republicans love to do) through bond issuance to pay for the waste of Democrats. Now we get stuck paying for Republican debt and Democrat waste.

I blame them all. They are all a bunch of [bleep] Demon-crap and re-pube-lickin alike. I still say they should have a law passed that says. YOU, THE LEGISLATURE AND GOVERNOR ARE CHARGED WITH THE RESPONSIBILITY OF COMING UP WITH A BUDGET BY JUNE 30. IF YOU DO NOT COME UP WITH A BUDGET BY JUNE 30, YOU WILL FORFIT YOUR PAY, BE FINED $50,000 A DAY EACH, AND LOCKED UP TOGETHER IN SAN QUENTIN UNTIL YOU DO THE JOB THAT YOUR NO GOOD [bleep] HAVE BEEN ELECTED TO DO. What do the rest of you think about this?
