Maybe this is another problem Obama can fix...the effort needs to be nationwide to put this door-to-door business to rest. We are not a society that needs anything sold to us door to door anymore. Especially if we have to pay for it with our lives!

There should be a law. Why is it I can sign up for no telephone soliciting but I don't have a right to tell solicitors to stay off my property? Can we maybe have a little sign or medallion posted on our houses so solicitors will know if they knock on my door they will be arrested? The business of issuing licenses to them is so not working. To me solicitors include all who want to sell something, give something free, or recruit to church or political parties. If I am in need of magazines, free information or my carpets cleaned or where the next church services or who to vote for, I think I can find where to go for them without someone trying to force it on me.
