Liberals fear her because she: 1) makes liberal women compare themselves to her and liberal women don't like that at all, 2) runs the State of Alaska as their Republican Governor, which is doing just fine thank you (unlike screwed up California), and 3) she is a proud conservative. Sarah Palin will be back in full force for the 2012 election and that's why the liberals and their liberal media fear her so much. My old man used to say people who are mad are afraid. Hey libs, what are you afraid of? An intelligent, conservative woman who is a self-made woman? I laugh watching the liberals squrim. Get ready for a conservative freight train coming your way in 2012. It's going to be an awesome thing when Americans take their country back.
I think if anybody really does fear her, it’s because she was not very in tune with the issues at hand during her last run.I watched most of her interviews and it was very clear that there were many things she did not know how to answer. She better do her homework and come out stronger if she is to have any chance at all.It will be interesting none the less.
I can think of a lot of different feelings people on the left have toward Palin, and I doubt that fear is very high on that list, if in fact, it's on the list at all.
1) Frankly, I don't think many women; liberal or conservative compare themselves to Sarah Palin. If they did, while many may not be as physically attractive, I firmly believe that most are more intelligent. And since this is not a beauty contest, her attractiveness shouldn't be real high on anyone's list of qualifications.
2) I find it ironic that you cite her running a state as a Republican governor and mention California. Since 1983, with the exception of 1 term (Gray Davis from 1999-2003) California has elected Republican Governors. Seems to make your point rather moot.
3) She is a proud conservative. Unless I'm mistaken, John McCain was a proud conservative. Bottom line, whether anyone wants to admit this or not, if the economy is still in the tank when the 2012 election comes around, chances are we will see a Republican victory. But if the economy is back and strong by 2012, Obama will win in a walk.
Your description of Palin was "... an intelligent, conservative woman who is a self-made woman". While the sentence is a tad confusing, the one thing with which I take umbrage (and I don't think I'm alone here - even among many conservatives) is the description of Palin as intelligent. While she's not an imbecile, she's hardly someone I would describe as having anything other than average or perhaps even slightly below average intelligence.
If you honestly believe that liberals are squirming at the possibility of Palin running for the Presidency in 2012, you are not paying attention. Most liberals I know HOPE that she runs in 2012 and actually GETS the Republican nomination. If she does, then Obama would have a good chance even if the economy was still down.
Finally your last sentence represents whats wrong with BOTH liberals AND conservatives. Americans didn't lose their country because Obama was elected. Americans didn't lose their country when Bush was elected. America belongs to ALL of us. You can disagree with a president and their policies, lean more liberal or conservative, but if you honestly believe that either side is less American than the other, then I submit that YOU are the one guilty of being un-American.
Sarah Palin lost the election for John McCain. Had John McCain not picked her as a running mate I believe he would have won the presidential election. As far as libs being mad...it sounds as though YOU are the one that is mad. I'm just glad that the war monger Bush and he idiot vice president Cheney are out of office.
So Sarah is resigning so she can spend the next 3+ years cramming to become a credible candidate for national office? Abandoning the only credential for higher office that she has, before completing even one term? That does not say much about her dedication to public service, does it? In the meantime, will she keep herself in the public eye by getting into more p[bleep]ing matches with people like Letterman and challenging other politicians to foot races? I guess we will find out in 2012 if she really shot herself in the foot this time.
No matter how you cut it, this is unprofessional. In the private sector, it would be the end of her career. For a state governor to resign on 23 days notice at a last minute press conference on Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend – well it puts the whole state system in the lurch. The lieutenant governor apparently didn’t even know about this until Wednesday night. Palin is a loose cannon. Look for her on the hate radio and book circuit. I predict her political career is kaput.
why is everybody so worried about palin......how about our president, where nobody knows if he is a us citizen in the first place, how about all of his school records, or, how about his illegal alien ante which lived in public housing, or his records as a senator?
I will keep my GUNS, my FREEDOM, my MONEY, you can keep the CHANGE
Oh my...some people just can't get over the fact that we have a democrat President in office. The rumor of President Obama not being a US citizen is nothing but a false lie. What in the world is an 'ante'?

Depends on which career. Right wing talk radio? I give her two months before she's behind a mike.

People who continue to claim that Barack Obama is not a US citizen are either delusional or are part of a scam.
