Pete Petrovich and Steve Kraut LOST today in court .Pete Petrovich bought Pee Wees from the late Mark Israel back in 2000. After Mark and his mother Norma died Pete and his partner Steve Kraut stopped paying the Israel family the balance owed. How DISRESPECTFUL is that. There wouldn't even be a Pee Wee Muldoons if Mark Israel hadn't created it. SHAME ON YOU Pete Petrovich and Steve Kraut. Maybe the Israels will REPO !! That would be great.

I just happened to be at the Superior Court on Monday March 17, I saw the involved names on the courtroom assignment sheet. Being the curious person that I am I went into the courtroom and sat thru the entire hearing. It didn't take long! The judge ruled in the Israels favor for the entire amount plus legal fees. It was a "no brainer". It was obvious that Mr. Petrovich and Mr. Kraut were trying to rip off the Israels. Hell Pete and Steve didn't even bother to show up.

Wow, that's amazing. I wish there was a way to get a copy of the proceedings. I knew Mark and Gaye as good friends before Mark passed away (a major shock). I've known Pete for years and respected him, too. This is truly a heads-up. May have to re-think my friendships.

I tried, as well for over an hour and couldn't find a thing. Hopefully someone else can come up with the details. If true, it does not bode well for Pete and Steve or the continuing operation of PeeWee's or the Sushi place.

Roy, I'm a bit inclined to not believe it especially since he said it happened monday. I searched both the superior court site in mtz and pittsburg and came up with nothing. I even looked at recorded doc's and came up empty. Rather then rethinking your friendships, wait until he posts proof, which I'm betting he can't. Its all available online now...

I'll hold my thoughts until I see proof. This would be devastating to the community, given what Pete has contributed over the years. But, then again, the same could be said of Governor Spitzer from New york.....

There are no superior court records for either name. Since you can usually view them I have my doubts on your story. You say Court Records!! I say, don't exist.

I was there ! I herd the entire thing. Why would anyone make up something like that. Maybe it's too soon for "recorded documents" I tried looking the stuff up when I got home myself. I swear this is all true. If you really think Pete and Steve wouldn't or didn't do this to the Israel Family you are so wrong. I was there!!!!!!

At this point, since you were there, I'll go with your account, but, I'd sure like to see the full accounting. If, as you say, Pete and Steve were not there lends alot of credence to the complaint. What was the complaint, award of damages, punitive or other? Other details, since we can't seem to access them? Firsthand witness account would be most appreciated.

The judgement was for the balance owed to Marks mom estate. I herd the judge say judgement in full for plaintiff. I didn't hear the exact amount. It was over $30,000.00. plus legal fees. Israels attorney noted to the judge that in the contract that was drawn up reguarding the sale of Pee Wees that if any person on the contract dies then the balance must be paid in full . Marks mom died in Dec. 2003 and Mark died in Aug.2004. The balance was due 7 months before Mark even died. I couldn't beleive what I was hearing. It doesn't matter if you don't believe me. I don't have any documentation of any of this. I was just putting this out there because I know what I herd. I just wanted people to know what a horrible person Pete is, and from what I've been hearing lately Steve Kraut isn't much better. Pete is a fraud. He doesn't care who he steps on to make himself look good.

I used to work in the Courts, the wheels of justice are not the only thing that grinds slowly ;- ) (- the complex and over-loaded) clerical system in the Court is also slow.

If they owed less than $5,000.00 it won't show up under a name search because it would have been heard in small claims department of the court and those records are not accessible online.

I just re-read what you said above about the balance remaining on the contract being due in full if the party passes away. So, the two "disrespectful" guys didn't necessarily STOP paying on what they owed since her passing, they may have continued making payments when they were really supposed to pay the full balance upon death of a party to the contract. Or did you hear specifically that they hadn't been paying since 2004? To give them the benefit of the doubt, they were probably taken to Court to enforce that particular subdivision of the contract which states they owe the balance due rather than continue making payments.

We had a can of SPAM in our panty for about 15 years taking up space until I moved it into our emergency disaster supply kit. Wow the owners of PEE WEES are real losers!! They really have no class at all. Word is that we should "BOYCOTT PEE WEES " until they make it right with the Israel Family. I agree!!!
