In fact both Canada and the UK and every other first world country do have universal health care and as a direct result all enjoy better health than does the U.S. which ranks behind even many third world countries.

smoke because your way off the money on this one. You can ask any man/woman off the street from Canada or the UK and they will tell you that socialized health care SUCKS big time. Why do you think people from Canada that can afford it come to THIS country for their treatments. It's because socialized systems operate on a "hurry up and wait system" In those countries you might die waiting to find out if you actually have a terminal disease!! The term that your'e going to have to come to grips with is "rationed health care". Oh, your'e 80yrs. old and you need a hip replacement.....I don't think so, your'e probably not going to live much longer so that operation would not be a good INVESTMENT for the community!!! Says who "A" hole!!!!
