Ray Davies is a legend. It was an awesome show last night, and he is incredible at 62. I can only hope I have half his energy at that age. The Kinks were the greatest rock band of all time because they were peers with the mid-60's British Invasion bands of the Beatles, Stones, and Who, and then peers with the late 70's/early 80's Punk/new wave bands like the Clash, Ramones, Jam, Pretenders, etc. then peers with 80's arena rock bands, then peers with mid-90's bands like Blur, Oasis, Pulp, etc. Ray's music is indeed timeless...all rock fans should re-discover the Kinks
