Here's where we see the resolve of the citizens of Richmond. I have a feeling that there are going to be howls of protests, calling for the heads of the officers involved. Protests that will echo throughout the city, shouting for revenge against the malevolent police, who shot down a poor, unarmed Black child. The victim's mother will call up John Burris to seek assistance in justice for her poor baby, who was really an exemplary student and a good boy.
I for one will in support of commendations for the officers who showed great courage in helping rid the city of the multitude of those who have no idea what constitutes decent society.
And maybe a ticker-tape parade, too.

Wrong to steal... wrong to die for stealing (at the hand of the police without benefit of trial). Checks and balances... punishment yes, but some restraint is called for too! Now the question remains about a firearm... more to come I suppose.

Officers chased the 16-year-old boy on foot into a field in the area of Willart Drive and Parker Road where they "confronted the suspect,"
This is where the plot thickens. I'll hold my opinion until "confronted" is clarified. The article stated "Officers chased the 16 year-old boy" but only on cop fired. The article doesn't if the victim had a weapon or if he "confronted" officers with a weapon.
Carjacking is a violent offense not to be confused with Vehicle Theft. Use a weapon to gain someone's vehicle and the cops will approach with weapons; they will not treat you with kid gloves. We'll see how this story develops.

These pukes were armed when they carjacked the victim. So its a safe assumption for the responding officers to believe they were still armed when they fled. Allowing an armed suspect to flee the scene and into a public area, albiet a field, is still a huge gamble. What do you think this thug is going to do as soon as he comes across some other victim in a car, ASK them for a ride? The officer acted responsibility and did what he should have done under the circumstances. "Thank you" to all law enforcement officers for putting your lives on the line each day.

Good job Richmond and San Pablo police officers! Thank you for all your hard work. There are plenty of law abiding citizens who appreciate what you do.
