This family responded to this horrific event in their lives with the only cure for lawlessness. It is love with justice. This is righteousness in action. Love without justice is counterfeit and not right. Love and justice go together. There is no sacrificing one for the other. Not only will God give this family love and justice, but something far, far more. He will transcend their goodness and righteousness far beyond the boarders of Richmond, California and this nation.

I am sure the so-called friend and his companions did not expect to exposed their dark side to the entire world to view in sordid detail. After all, it was done in the dark with 20 men against 1 young girl. This was a spiritual warfare event. The spirit of evil twenty times over came up against 1 young girl belonging to the body of Christ. In darkness, out comes the betrayal of a friend, the plunder, the rape 20 times over, the pillaging and brutality with beating of her body. Soooo! Who turned on the lights? Who pulled out the microscope? Who is in control of the war now? It is none other than Christ himself. So, here comes the Judge and the Truth is on the march. What was done in the dark and hidden is now in the light and exposed beyond the boarders of Richmond, California and this nation. This beautiful and precious young girl is God's property. It is on the record that her family has a nurturing relationship with Him. His Word states that our bodies belong to Him. We are to submit our bodies unto God as a living sacrifice which is our reasonable service. We are to have the mind of Christ. The so-called friend and his companions made a decision to give up their minds to Satan on homecoming night and revolt against God. Even though, they knew better.

This evil was done against God. It is the work of a law unto self attitude. It is lawlessness. It says to the heart, " I can do whatever I want with no regard for others or authority." The law unto self attitude is a revolt against our inner being. God created a code for conduct within every heart to show love/"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” The law unto self attitude is of the devil which is coded for self destruction. This self destruction process is just beginning to play out in the lives of the so called friend and his companions.

This young girl and her family are already rising above this evil event by the grace of God. The power of God’s grace transcends the universe. Through this family, God unveils the mystery of righteousness and the mystery of lawlessness in one horrific event. The mystery of righteousness is love with justice as communicated by this family. The mystery of lawlessness is a law unto self attitude as acted out by the so called friend and his companions. Through God’s grace, this family and their precious daughter are just beginning their assent toward transcendence of the goodness and glory of God that will glow beyond this nation. They are illuminating a trail that Jesus blazed for us to follow long, long, ago. This trail is the only way out of the stain of violence that is the result of lawlessness in this world. “Volunteer at a school. Go help a neighbor. Be courageous in speaking the truth and in holding people accountable. Work toward changing the atmosphere in our schools and in this community so that this kind of thing never happens again.”
