The governators popularity has skyrocketedwith the middle class and business owners in CA. His no nonsense approach and elimination of wasteful, fruadulent social programs which have bankrupted the Golden State were welcomed bythe majority of CALIFORNIANS fed upwith tax increase, waste fraud and abuse of our hard earned money.
major kudos to the Governor for a JOB WELL DONE, THE PEOPLE ARE WITH YOU. THANK FOR STANDING STRONG AGAINST THE CORRUPT UNIONS, AND WASTEFUL WELFARE PROGRAMS.

The budget cuts are just a start, it needs to continue. California has one of the highest tax burdens of any state in the nation. Some suggestions include amendments to:
Reduce the legislature incenctive to increase taxes: limit the total term years to 10 and/or make all elected officials non-paid (volunteer).
Cap the total state and local taxes/fees at 5%. (Property tax growth is already capped by Prop 13. )
Budgets must balance the average of the previous 3 years state revenues.
Consider a voter ranking of state services, cut state programs/departments in that order. In short, if we don't vote for it, don't take our money for it. No, the government does not know better than me where to spend my money.
