And, the boy that led her to the back of that school should be brought up on charges also! I don't know what kind of person would stand around and watch such a traumatic event. Inasmuch as the males (I can’t call them boys; they are too old, and of course they are not men) exhibited total disregard for a young woman, I feel it goes much deeper than that. I look around and see the type of behavior some people have nowadays and it bespeaks of disregard for ANYONE; parents, teachers, law enforcement, the judicial, system, etc. Anyone; male or female, who knew of this horrific event and did not report it (everyone has a cell phone or access to one immediately!) simply showed zero respect for humankind.
Yes, we have a society where too many women defer to using their sexuality to get what they need; attention, grades, money, position, etc., coupled with too many males seeing females as sex objects. Both genders are disrespecting themselves and each other. Too many girls feeling they can get what they need by being cute. By the time they hit High School, they have it down pat. We’ve all seen them in action. Even as they get older.
I have been a single Dad for 18 years now. 2 children; my daughter is 24 and my son is 21. I would share the same example as a warning to both. I would tell them that it is amazing how often I will be speaking to a woman and yes, at one time she may have been very attractive, but the problem is her intellect stopped when she began to use her cuteness/sexiness to get what she needed. Now she is (like all of us) getting older and less comely. Problem is, her education stopped so long ago that she is now faced with accepting far less than she should have. If she’d only paid attention to the inside of her head while she was preening the outside
you have too many issues to deal with! perhaps an appointment with your phyciatrist?may help. what you have described is a sociopath! you! You have issues with female relationships.go to the doctor!
You are so right on? Kids are raising themselves these days in most homes and it's sad that they have no parent like you to show them the right way to behave. The kids today have no spirit, they don't know right from wrong. They have no fear of the consequences of their actions, they just go out and do it cuzz it feels good. This is the same with some parents and college aged kids too. I might be telling my age but in my day we didn't go anywhere or do anything our parents didn't know about. They kept a close eye on us at all times and they had 6 children, which by the way turned out all good. My parents were very strict and I thank them for that, none of us have ever been in trouble with the law etc. We were taught to respect our elders the law etc..It's all in the way kids are raised, if the kids are bad it's because the parents dropped the ball...they're letting the government tell them how to raise they're kids and the government cant' even run this country!!!!! Parents need to go back to the basics and raise their kids right!!! Stop being their friends and start being their parents.

I might have agreed with this statement about 5 years ago. Upon recent, I think you will find the tables are turning. Have personally had three incidents in the past year or so of younger males (more of the GQ type) attempt to flirt with me - maybe thinking the flattery would help to get what they wanted. It took me aback, not used to it . Very different than when I have had a younger male express general romantic interest. Problem is, it was insincere and a bit patronizing and offensive to say the least when I realized what had occurred.
Not all attractive females are as you described either. Some do try to make it through life on their brains and personality. If some horn dog gives them a position or a chance over another because of it - don't fault the attractive female ;). Fault the horn dog - lol
The world has turned our eyes away from God. How could anyone stand by and watch any part of this and not respond by seeking help. This rape went on for 2 hours!! The people who witnessed this should be ashamed.
The Principal and staff at the High School, must know where the danger areas are for students. (ie; low light areas or hidden from view) The members of the School Board are also personally responsible for all student safety on their campuses. How could staff and security at the dance not patrol these areas of obvious danger.
Multiple guilt here for all.... but I hope the all the rapists get life and room with Bubba, and all Bubba's friends. The staff should go and visit them all in prison and tell them they failed as a learning institution. The School District should be held fiscally responsible for the victim for the rest of her life.
