I am shocked by the attitude of the workers at Moto Skate. We are a changing community. I am also caucasion but I will not tolerate degrading racial comments. I do not know if it was an employee or an owner, but that was simply wrong.

How are you going to post something like this and not explain it? I know the owners well, and they are both over the top nice to everyone who walks in there. As far as I know, they only have one employee who seems really nice too. What exactly happened? I have a hard time believing they purposely said anything inappropriate.

I am Scott Bennett-Nava, the owner of Moto SK8 Plus, and a native of Brentwood for the entire 37 years of my life. I am proud of the growth our community and to have false accusations as such directed at my company is uncalled for and down right wrong. Anybody that knows or has been in our shop knows the value we put on customer service and such conduct is not tolerated. I find it appauling for somebody to use a subject as such in attempt to tarnish the pride, dignity, self respect, and service we so proudly provide at Moto SK8 Plus. For those that have not had the opportunity to experience the forementioned service, please take the time to drop in and see what we are really about. Thanks, Scott

Hey Scott, nice of you to come on and defend your business, but I'm not so sure you had to. This was a srewed up thread from the start that didn't make any sense. Most of us regular posters are wary of anonymous people making negative remarks about a business and we understand it's always best to form your own opinion. Usually people come to the defense of the business (like Liberty tried to), but I'm not sure in this case anybody knew what the heck the complaint was about.
The good thing is, those of us that had never heard of Moto Sk8 Plus, have heard of it now, and we even know who the owner is.
Happy Sk8ing!

I got to agree with you BJ. Most that spend any time on these forums can tell when somebody is giving a honest opinion/information or if they have a hidden (or not so hidden) agenda. This post had the smell of rotten fish from the get-go.
That's just my opinion, but I could be Wrong.
