Anyone having problems with bills from PG&E since a SmartMeter has been installed? We have had nothing but problems. Each month having to call, only to be told they see the problem and it will be fixed. A new bill will be mailed out. Something is wrong here. Either its not so Smart of a Meter or the people reading the data don't know how.

I'm not sure what problems you are having, but I do know that the past two bills we've received have been outrageous!! Last month's bill $540.57, this month's bill $445.36!!

She had a pge bill that was 1000.00 for just gas. Yeaaaaaaaaaaah Right. Second time it's happened to her. Last one they fixed and I'm guessing this one will get fixed also, cuz I don't think a block of houses could use a thousand dollars in gas. (water heater and dryer)

are you talking about the smartAC program with PGE?
EDIT: I had not signed up for this, but am on the SmartAC program. I guess i'll wait to see more reviews on it.

No, this is on the outside of your home. Its a new meter for them to read. They just drive by and the info comes on a computer in car. We had over $1200.00 in gas alone both times.

i went out and checked my meter and i have one. It looks like those smart meters were installed when they built our houses. Both neighbors had them too. I havent had any problem with my bill as an fyi.

I got another bill. This one was so low couldn't be right. Now, they didn't charge me for gas at all. I know that when something is new they would have bugs. But couldn't they install them on employee's meters fix the bugs then go around to all customers and install them. Then again, we would be the ones with problems not them.
