Yep, I deleted it. It was getting so long, it was hard to read. Now, if BJ would delete "The Giants are back...." and start a new thread, that would be just dandy, too!
Stoney, I don't think you can delete a post once someone has responded to it. Up to that point, you can edit at will. But, if you are the originator to the entire thread, such as I am now on this one or Roy was on the prior thread, you can hit the flush button and delete the entire thread. I was not aware of how that worked, but after seeing that Roy did it, I deleted another thread I had started just to test it. Sure enough, you can delete your own threads, but not anyone else's.
And of course you are right Smokey that you should have credit for starting the movie posts even though they were on Roy's thread as he sought out innovative ideas like yours.

Of the ones I knew, I loved Carole King, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Neil Diamond, Elton John, the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac . . . others that I'm momentarily drawing a blank on. Cat Stevens had one song that was done all in Latin (O Caritas), and I thought that was so cool that I memorized it. Still remember snippets of it here and there, but not much (as opposed to Adeste Fideles, which I could sing in my sleep . . . and also The Jabberwocky, which isn't a song, and isn't in Latin, but might as well be!)

Her hair is gray and old Her lips chapped and dry Her hands are always cold She's got Marty Feldman eyes Her once good looks are gone She'll no longer entice A big mole on her nose She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She'll unease you She has fleas too And she has Hodgkin's disease too She's atrocious Sometimes she forgets to make the toilet bowl flush She's got Kirstie Alley big fat thighs She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She's from a mental home You know her mind's not right Her hair she doesn't comb She's got Marty Feldman eyes She'll scream or mumble at you Repeats everything twice She's got a few loose screws She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She's an old shrew And she's been to Other planets in a U.F.O. too She's atrocious And she knows just what it takes to make you go nuts All the boys think she's a guy She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She'll impede you And deceive you All the better just to leave you She's atrocious When she scrubs her back she'll use the toilet bowl brush All the boys think she's a guy She's got Marty Feldman eyes
I'm too sexy for the wabbit, too sexy for that wabbit, that silly little rabbit. I'm too sexy for my hat, too sexy for my hat what do you think about that? I'm too sexy for your party, too sexy for your party no way I'm disco dancing.
I'm Elmer Fudd you know what I mean. And I'm too sexy for the wabbit, the wittle wabbit, dat wittle wascle, I'm too sexy for the wabbit.
I was going to say NNNNNTTTTTTT because Santana did that song, but I now see that Fleetwood Mac did it first. You learn something new every day. Good knowledge Smokey!
I 'member seein' that on the Ed Sullivan Show . . . tres scandalous! I also remember the time my parents went out one evening, and our babysitter sat screaming in front of our TV when the Beatles appeared!
I'm glad you explained that 001. At first I thought it was a typo and I didn't remember Elton John doing a song celebrating the return of the biotech field since it never really went away.
"Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends;" (Karn Evil #9) Emersen, Lake & Palmer
"Hey BJ, I didn't know you could play off your own entries?" I did a duplicate so I thought changing it to a new entry would be more interesting than an apology for screwing up.

Marty Feldman Eyes by Bruce "Baby Man" Baum
Her hair is gray and old
Her lips chapped and dry
Her hands are always cold
She's got Marty Feldman eyes
Her once good looks are gone
She'll no longer entice
A big mole on her nose
She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She'll unease you
She has fleas too
And she has Hodgkin's disease too
She's atrocious
Sometimes she forgets to make the toilet bowl flush
She's got Kirstie Alley big fat thighs
She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She's from a mental home
You know her mind's not right
Her hair she doesn't comb
She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She'll scream or mumble at you
Repeats everything twice
She's got a few loose screws
She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She's an old shrew
And she's been to
Other planets in a U.F.O. too
She's atrocious
And she knows just what it takes to make you go nuts
All the boys think she's a guy
She's got Marty Feldman eyes
She'll impede you
And deceive you
All the better just to leave you
She's atrocious
When she scrubs her back she'll use the toilet bowl brush
All the boys think she's a guy
She's got Marty Feldman eyes

Hey, don't blame me, even I write better songs than this. I'm just trying to give us an out from Humps and Bumps so the game can continue.

"Hey BJ, I didn't know you could play off your own entries?" I did a duplicate so I thought changing it to a new entry would be more interesting than an apology for screwing up.
Come inside, the show's about to start
Guaranteed to blow your head apart...
Soon the Gypsy Queen in a glaze of vaseline
Will perform on guillotine, what a scene, what a scene...
Performing on a stool we've a sight to make you drool
Seven virgins and a mule, keep it cool, keep it cool
We would like it to be known the exhibits that were shown
Were exclusively our own, all our own, all our own
LOVE THE DISCLAIMER AT THE END!

The Banana Boat Song by Harry Belafonte
Day-o, Day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day, me say day, me say day, me say day
Me say day, me say day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Work all night on a drink a' rum
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Stack banana till the mornin' come
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
It's six foot, seven foot, eight foot BUNCH!
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Six foot, seven foot, eight foot BUNCH!
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day, me say day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day, me say day, me say day, me say day...
Daylight come and me wan' go home
A beautiful bunch a' ripe banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Highly deadly black tarantula
Daylight come and me wan' go home
It's six foot, seven foot, eight foot BUNCH!
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Six foot, seven foot, eight foot BUNCH!
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day, me say day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day, me say day, me say day, me say day...
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan' go home
Day-o, day-ay-ay-o
Daylight come and me wan' go home
