Why don't you give me an argument, based on facts, about why any mention of Sarah Palin makes you liberals froth at the mouth -- do your best to leave name calling and personal bias out of it.
It seems that the liberals get their knickers in an uproar, call names, deliberately criticize anyone that disagrees with them. Before I believed that they were just uneducated but NOW I believe it is because they voted for the WRONG person for President and have to defend their mistake. Conservatives do not buy books in this area. Look at wweb cocovote.us/content.aspx?id=66 to get the registration percentages per city. Now look at the store locators for Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc. and you'll see that the stores are in Democratic leaning cities and always far away from Republican leaning cities. wweb cocovote.us/VRStats.aspx?Summaries=1 is a fascinating page. It's curious that so many parties have zero voters and yet the "Other" party has nearly 2000. Is "Other" a registered political party?

Obviously by your "STAYING AWAY!" comment you are afraid and threatened by her -- why? Your comment includes no explanation other than that you may have had too much caffeine today.

to inform me that every year the times runs a tribute to our military,
by posting the fallen service members, in the Bay Area, weeks before and through Veterans
day, and after, when she did not see any tribute this year, she called to ask why,
the editor told her that the person assigned to that tribute, FORGOT, and there would
not be any tribute this year. This is just one more reason why I cancelled the paper years ago.
I likely would have noticed a veterans tribute by the Times or anyone. While it sounds like a great idea I'm sure the CC Times itself has never run a tribute as part of Veterans Day.

Palin is going to places other than California because the book tour is a campaign swing. She is not coming to California because their are no votes in areas where there is significant conservative majority. She doesn't need the media reporting on protests. She wants to re-engage with her base and sell some books.
I don't know if I would vote for her as the best conservative candidate. But I would vote for her any day before I would vote for the idiot, socialist Obama. Obama hates this country and wants to make it something other than what has made it great. He wants to change its economic system that has made it the envy of the world. And he wants to dilute it power to make it just "equal". The void created will be filled by evil despots. Obama and all that voted for him and support him are stupid and naive.
