thank you PHPD for getting two more punks off our streets...don't suppose they will get any extra charges for putting all the kids lives in danger by the school? Why aren't our laws regarding stolen vehicles and fleeing police harsher??? If the penalties were stiffer, you would have more punks put away for longer periods of time and future punks thinking twice before stealing and fleeing police.
Unfortunately, putting punks away for longer will also result in an increase to the prison population which is more money out of the state budget and effectively our pockets. As far as punks thinking twice about the consequences, etc. goes, most of them are challenged to even think once.
The chases seem to be an attitude thing. Type police chase into youtube and there's 20,400 videos. That'll encourage more that one punk to gun it when the light bar flips on.
