Dear Parents of Pittsburg, Are you aware that proposed cuts by the district could cause:
Increased class size from 20 to 32 students in all grades? Many teachers to be laid off? A loss of elementary Vice Principals?
As well as other negative impacts on your child’s education?
These do not need to be the areas for cuts!

Yep it's really sad. My wife just finished her elementary credential and wants to teach in PUSD elementary schools. No chance of that. Or any of the nearby districts. They are all cutting. So my wife spend gobs of time (AND MONEY) to get a public school credential, and it isn't worth the piece of paper it's written on.
And all the local districts had a job fair in Martinez this weekend. Why ?
