A Democrap legislature not fit to pass gas only cares about the quantity of tax subsidized pork it can slop in to the trough for those wallowing at the front - meaning their insider cronies and propagandists.
it is actually a very 'green' system - the Green Stuff Recycles from bureaucrat to donor to politician, with just enough to grease the sticky palms of 'our' bought and paid for 'free press'.
But hey - somebody has to keep the 'Vanilla' (taxpayers / voters) clueless enough to keep voting the machine back in power.

I agree but, it seems, most in my district don't: They elected Garamendi -- an unapologetic tax & spender. More of the same...
