A record low turnout is predicted for June 3. It is a shame because the votes on that day might have more impact on your lives than any cast in November. Pardon the paraphrasing but this is not an original thought and I forgot who said it: "Democracy is a messy system, sometimes inefficient and often abused, but it is the best damn system we have." Your participation in expressing your opinion on these boards and casting your ballot on June 3 is the lifeblood of our American-style democracy. Please go out and vote!
