I like!...especially that neighborhood concerns were addressed and they replaced two fast food chains with FRESH and EASY. Definitely a win for OAKLEY! Way to go City Council! See below:

OAKLEY -- The Oakley City Council tentatively approved Tuesday night a new neighborhood shopping center at Laurel Road and O'Hara Avenue. The proposed commercial development includes a Rite Aid pharmacy, coffee shop and bank.

Laurel Plaza is being planned for the northwest corner of Laurel and O'Hara, an emerging retail hub. The developers made a number of changes to the initial plans based on city requests and neighborhood concerns including more landscaping, pedestrian connections and screening for noise, security and privacy.

The developers are working towards replacing plans for two fast food operations in the center with a Fresh & Easy neighborhood market. The Oakley Planning Commission will review the potential market component at a later date.
