I received the following email and want to pass it on as an example of why Sen.(orita) Boxer is so out of touch with America's middle class -
The 2 subject bills, if enacted, will prove to be a complete disaster and America's middle class might as well just leave the country for one that acts on behalf of their citizens. Here is a brief description from Rob Sanchez:
<<<<< JOB DESTRUCTION NEWSLETTER No. 1876 -- 6/10/2008 >>>>>
Senators Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Judd Gregg (R-NH) introduced a bill to the Senate that is a companion bill to Zoe Lofgren's bill in the House. The bills will effectively staple green cards onto the diplomas of aliens with a master's or higher degree from a United States institution of higher education in the field of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM). In order to qualify for the instant green card they must find a U.S. job in a field related to their degree.
There will be no numerical limits to the number of STEM related green cards that can be issued. The two bills are described below:
S. 3084
Sponsor: Sen. Barbara Boxer [D-CA]
Cosponsor: 1
Introduced: Jun 5, 2008
H.R. 6039
Sponsor: Rep. Zoe Lofgren [D-CA]
Cosponsors: 19
Introduced: May 13, 2008
I'm asking group members to contact congress and tell them you DO NOT want either bill enacted. This is important guys. For those interested in some text you can cut/paste and use, try this:
H.R. 6039 (for house - S. 3084 in the Senate) if enacted would prove to be a disaster for American workers by providing an auto green card to every foreign national completing an education. In a time when 600,000 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) students graduate from college - yet only 120,000 find jobs - there is a real problem with American finding jobs.
H.R. 6039 would pour fuel on the fire by flooding the market with far more college grads than needed, far more than there are jobs for them, circumventing the law of Supply and Demand, and driving down wages due to oversupply. This would prove to be a complete disaster and more of the continuing assault on America's middle class.
DO NOT SUPPORT H.R. 6039/S. 3084.

As the prior article pointed out, there are 120k jobs for 600k applicants in advanced IT applications. So what happens to those 480k people who don't get those jobs?

That's right. They end up working at gift card stores. And who do you think gets displaced from THOSE jobs? Apparently Sen.(oritas) Boxer and Lofgren just don't care!

Ok, am I being naive? Why can't we adjust immigration each year for the unemployment rate? If there are increasing unemployed Americans, then you decrease the immigrants (as well as the legal aliens with green cards) until unemployment decreases to an acceptable level.

what do you want adjust?
an illegal alien is a person who entered our country by breaking the law..period, and should be handled as such. if that includes deportation, so be it.
why would you punish green card holders, this are the ones who are going the legal way to become us citizen.?
go to your local home depot, and you will find at least 50 illegal aliens every morning. where is the law enforcement? ops...they are looking for trash cans and illegal parked rv's, oh and latley for people who use a cell phone while driving.
there is something terrible wrong here.

Here's a report about oil futures in Mexico, where 40% of their taxes are generated. Production has declined by 15% over the past 4 years. No new wells developed by PeMex.
Mexico expected to be net oil IMPORTER in 10 years.
10% of their population has already successfully invaded the U.S.

How Long Do We Have?
About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:
"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government."
"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury."
">From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."
"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years"
"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. from dependence back into bondage"
the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase , with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.
If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

Spiritual faith? Bull [bleep].
Organized religions mass hypnosis of the weak and willing is the reason we are in most of the messes we're fighting today.
When you eschew "faith" you too often dispregard COMPASSION, REASON AND LOGIC.
With out compassionate reason and logic we let lies and BS thru.
Faith is the only way people can believe in something so obviously flawed. Its delusional.
The BOOK!
What book?
The uncompleted, often edited, over interpreted and completely ridiculous writings that have sent millions to their horrible deaths over the centuries?
Word of God?
Like hell.
No compassion for illegal immigrants huh? Yeah, thats real American.

I have no idea what your anti-religious rantings have to do with the words written by poet Emma Lazarus in 1883, which were later inscribed on a bronze plaque and affixed to the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty in 1912-some 25 years after her death. Lazarus was an observant Jew who herself cherished "The Book", and who also was an early Zionist advocate for the establishment of a modern State of Israel. It is useful to note that The Statue is, and always has been, The Statue of "Liberty Enlightening The World". It is the Statue of Liberty, not the Statue of Immigration. The French did not send us a 'Statue of Immigrants' in 1886, they sent us a 'Statue of Liberty' in order to commemorate the revolution which had won greater liberty for our people. They meant it as a salute to the citizens of their fellow republic. It was 26 years later (in 1912) that some folks in New York decided to add their own 'extra meaning' to "Lady Liberty" by affixing the plaque with Emma Lazarus' description of The Statue inscribed upon it.
In the context of our current immigration debate in this country, when someone evokes The Statue and Lazarus' poem as reasons for us to conduct a largely open-borders immigration policy, since it is pure symbolism which they are evoking it is useful to respond symbolically. Remind them that The Statue of Liberty is not standing at the U.S.-Mexican border, but on Liberty Island in the New York/New Jersey Harbor. In her poem (called "The New Collossus"), Emma Lazarus was reaching out to European immigrants (mainly to Jewish refugees from the Russian pogroms), inviting them to come and find a new home in a nearly wide-open country containing at that time around 50 million Americans. It makes little sense today for United States of Americans (the full, official name of the citizens of this nation) to continue to hold this attitude, now that we are a nation of some 300 million persons. The continental territory of our country itself has certainly not grown any larger, only our population has. Today we do not need any more large-scale immigration from any country; not even from those in Europe, the very place from which Lazarus' words were inviting immigrants. Any nation's immigration policy should closely serve that nation's needs, not the world's needs, and most nations' policies already do this. Why are we required to act differently? In today's high-tech world, do we in this country really need to allow in any more large numbers of, "huddled masses" representing the, "wretched refuse" from any other country's, "teeming shore"? As of today, I am finally adding my voice to that growing majority of Americans who are beginning to say, and loudly, "No, we do not!".

Here's a heart touching story about a man who took a tour in our Armed Forces, was a solid citizen, then blew it all by aiding and abetting illegal alien invaders during his National Guard duty. Now if we could only nail the employers of those illegal alien invaders who caused this father to be separated from his children.

It's stories like this that irk the Hispanic Caucus and other pro-invasion racist groups to call for a boycott against Lou Dobbs. In this case, our own GAO found a 92% success rate of crossing the border illegally.
(see poll http://forums.contracostatimes.com/poll/what-should-we-do-with-immigrati... )
Lou Dobbs Tonight -- CNN -- June 16
Dobbs: A new Congressional investigation tonight shows what we've been reporting on this broadcast literally for years. That our borders remain virtually wide open, that our border with Mexico is wide open, and as Casey Wian now reports, undercover investigators had a more than 90 percent, 90 percent success rate as they tried to enter this country illegally.
Casey Wian: This is an undercover tester for the Government Accountability Office packing phony radioactive material and then smuggling it across unguarded sections of the U.S./ Mexico border. The same GAO study of border security over the past five years found that even at legal crossing points testers were able to use fake ID to enter illegally 93 percent of the time. GAO concluded that terrorists or other criminals could use counterfeit identification to pass freely through most of the tested ports of entry with little chance of being detected. The Customs and Border Protection Agency has spent tens of billions of dollars since 2001 adding thousands of agents and new technology, but officials say more resources are needed.
...Another study by the University of California at San Diego estimates the chance of an illegal border crosser being caught have doubled to nearly 50 percent since 2005. But because most try repeatedly, the ultimate success rate remains above 90 percent yet there's a shift in focus away from border security.

Here's some REAL interesting numbers about the H-1b program, especially if you are a recent American high school graduate and are thinking about science and engineering as a career ...
My thanks to Bob Johnson for getting this transcript (06/09/08 show) off CNN's website and posting it for us. I'm calling on all group members to send this transcript to congress with your comments. Don't let them get away with "worker shortage" myths.
Up next, some in Congress want to make it even easier to hire cheap foreign workers instead of Americans. That's Bush administration regular policy, but we'll have a special report on what's going on now. We'll be right back.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
DOBBS: Well, business and political elites in this country repeatedly claim that the H1B foreign worker visa program must be expanded to meet the growing demand for more technology workers, but there's evidence tonight that the number of H1B visas issued by the government is outpacing by a considerable margin job growth.
As Bill Tucker now reports, that means companies are cheap foreign labor because that foreign labor is cheaper than American.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
BILL TUCKER, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): In the two years from 2003 to 2005, about 125,000 new computer jobs were created in this country. During that same job, more than 98,000 H1B visas were issued for computer workers. That was enough to fill 78 percent of the jobs created. Leaving only about 27,000 jobs for American workers. That's a conclusion by a report from the "Center of Immigration Studies" after an analysis of government data. The center which lobbies for tighter immigration policy concludes there's no relationship between the program and economic need. And it says the picture is worse for engineers.
JOHN MIANO, CENTER FOR IMMIGRATION STUDIES: In 2005, the United States lost 3,200 engineering jobs. In the same year, we imported over 12,000 engineers H1B engineers. How do you argue with numbers like that?
TUCKER: The high-tech industry continues to argue it's short skilled workers and that the program needs to be doubled add the very least from the official cap of 65,000 visas a year.
ROBERT HOFFMAN, COMPETE AMERICA: These are job opening just within 5,000 companies in the U.S. economy. There 120,000 skilled job openings. It is not in any company's interest to leave jobs unfilled.
TUCKER: According to the National Science Foundation, in 2005, we graduated 271,000 students with bachelors and masters degrees in science and engineering who were citizens or legal residents.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
TUCKER: And for the more than 18,000 foreign students who graduated from American universities, the Department of Homeland Security gave them a nice graduation present earlier this year. DHS doubled the length of time that foreign students can stay and work in the country after graduation to two and a half years. A lawsuit challenging that action is scheduled for preliminary hearing on July 7, Lou, so we'll see what happens with that.
DOBBS: Yes, I still see Bill Gates standing before the committee chaired by Senator Ted Kennedy over a year ago. The only witness, the only member in the committee with Bill Gates saying, I need an infinite number of worker advisories, H1B visas. The absurdity and to watch the way Congress just sort of fawns over him and (INAUDIBLE) and says, it doesn't really matter what happens to the voters, to our constituents, to working men and women in this country, just so you satisfy the corporate and political elites in this country.
Such balderdash. It's ridiculous.
Thank you very much. Bill Tucker.
Eight of the top 20 companies requesting H1B worker visas last year were based in India. Did I say that? Yes, I did.
Those firms want to bring cheap labor from India to the United States so they can outsource middle class jobs to those workers here -- so they don't have to go to all that trouble of sending them all the way to India. The H1B visa program is one of 10 guest worker programs that this country already has in place. I know you're thinking, George W. Bush, the president of the United States, was saying, we need a guest worker program. But we actually have 10 of them already.
Ten, Mr. President -- 10 of them, as we've been reminding you for the past year.
Tonight's poll results -- 96 percent of you say you're outraged that the state of California would argue against verifying the legality of employees who would be doing work for the state of California.
And now for the poll -

Many job aspirants give fake educational documents: Study
14 Jun, 2008, 2023 hrs IST, IANS
First Advantage specialises in background screening for 90,000 companies globally. It will make public its first 2008 quarterly report pertaining to the kind of "frauds candidates and employees perpetrate to acquire or retain a job".
First Advantage managing director (West Asia) Ashish Dehade told media that the report "will be made public early next week". Declining to reveal the percentage of people who cheat, he said it was "very high".
Talking about the sudden interest of corporates in seeking background screening of potential candidates, Dehade said that in recent times, "we are witnessing a massive discrepancy and a high growth of risks in candidate recruitment and contract staff or vendor hiring".
"One of the reasons why many candidates manage to get away with spurious credentials and documents is because jobs are multi-located. In simple words, jobs are not confined to one region or state or country," he said. "Thus it becomes very easy for a person to get away with forged documents and fake claims."
The findings of the 2007 study had come as a shock to firms and their human resource managers. "And in our 2008 first quarterly report, we have found that almost all industry sectors witnessed an increase in both employment and education related discrepancy as compared to the previous quarter."
Dehade said the fraudulent practices are not confined to just one sector, "it permeates almost every arena, be it banking or health".
The discrepancies were also found enveloping other facets of candidates.
For example, it was found that 21 percent of the candidates had inflated their previous designations, 44 percent had given an incorrect tenure and 21 percent had provided false employment information like incorrect company name, employment status and reasons for leaving. __._,_.___

The following article appeared in our local paper regarding recent ICE raids in Hayward -
http://www.contracostatimes.com/nationandworld/ci_9799197
Although the article is much more balanced than normal, it seems our local reporters still can't get past the editor with the proper phrase 'illegal alien', even when citing U.S. code (which, BTW, does not define 'illegal immigrant', whatever that is). One reason for "...ICE's haphazard enforcement record ..." is the fine work of Sen.(oritas) Feinstein and Boxer's support of Sen.(or) Kennedy's efforts to cripple the enforcement of immigration laws since 1987, when the first amnesty occurred. It wasn't until recently that ICE even had access to SSNs from the SSA unless a case had already been presented in court. And trotting out the worn-out argument that 'everybody else in the business does it' just won't fly anymore. I will concede that el Presidente Bush waited until his 8th year in office to begin to enforce immigration laws, and that presidents before him have done an abysmal job as well (again, due to the efforts of Kennedy et al.).
Can you imagine the chilling effect of offering a reward to anyone who reports and testifies against their employers, especially if it was available to illegal aliens? Not only would you get to stay here awhile longer, you get transportation home and a 'severity package'. What a deal!

Bombs away .......
The following article notes that Federal judges are letting illegal alien invaders go when charged with using a false SSN for employment.
http://timesfreepress.com/news/2008/jul/08/chattanooga-use-false-ids-not...
The rationale is that a SSN is not necessarily a form of identity. Huh! I wonder what the Federal judge uses to pay his income taxes. Maybe an audit is in order? Sorry, BOZO, but SSNs ARE used to identify financial accounts. DOH!! Maybe the Feds should just mark the judge's SSN as deceased, wipe out his SSA account, and good luck in collecting retirement benefits. Right before they appeal this bonehead decision.

This is a curious event in Arizona. A Hispanic invasion supporter who is a public defender organized a protest where a pinata with the head of the sheriff was publicly beaten.

Now I hae see allusions of prosecution for terrorist acts when a noose is simply displayed, even without a picture of the target victim. So how does this reconquista get away with hanging and beating someone in effigy? Especially by an 'officer of the court'?

We have both the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates pushing for 'comprehensive immigration reform', which is an euphemism for 'amnesty'. In the General News topic I posted an article about what real comprehensive reform should entail, at least from our end. In this article about the busiest Federal judge in America, this comment makes a compelling summary of why it is doomed to failure.
Most of you have no idea what the immigration laws of our country actually are. You also live in a fantasy land where other countries are fair and not corrupt. Everyone says to "get in line" or "do what needs to be done to get papers". However, under our current system there is no line and there is nothing that many of the people who end up coming here can do to come here legally. The system in Mexico, for example, is so corrupt that if someone is denied a visa (for no apparent reason...usually because they cannot pay the mordida or bribe) they invalidate their passport. The person then has to re-apply and pay for a new passport before they can go be denied again. As Americans we take for granted that we fill our our visa forms in the airplane on the way to our destination country. As of right now the punishment for being in this country without documentation for 180 days or less is 3 years outside of the country. If you are here for more than 180 days you are banned for 10 YEARS. There is no statute of limitations. There is no get out of jail card. There is no marry a citizen and you can stay. There is no get a job that will sponsor you and you can stay. So, the option on the table for people who have established their lives here is to leave for 3-10 years and then go apply for a visa and most likely be repeatedly denied. Sounds tempting. So, all of us sons and daughters of immigrants (anyone who is full-blooded Native American can disregard) should educate ourselves before we lay claim to something that we have as a result of immigration. And before you talk about how our ancestors followed the law, maybe you should read about that too. Historically, the existing immigrant group in the US has been intolerant of the "newcomers". The Irish, the Polish, Chinese, and now the Hispanics. So much for history not repeating itself. You would think we might learn.

We may be an un-well nation, and the source of the illness strikes at our heart as a nation. This article does a good job of describing some of the symptoms, and after reading it it is no wonder that Congressional approval is in the single digits -
http://www.contracostatimes.com/california/ci_9989083
As a nation, we pride ourselves on our tolerance. But the symptoms above seem to indicate that we have been taken advantage of, and our resentment is rapidly turning to anger. So far the main stream media has kept the fighting among ourselves, but hopefully individuals will turn their irrationality on the real source, our representatives in government. But please beware! Our 'representatives' have prepared for an all-out attack, and el Presidente Bush is just itching to exercise martial law he recently acquired in the event of a 'national emergency'. Given the vagueness of the conditions the president can use to define 'emergency', even citizens marching on Washington, DC, with pitchforks could fit the description. So call them instead. Let them know when your neighbor abandons his home for lack of work and corporate greed. Ask them how the value of the dollar can increase when the Fed Reserve can print unlimited amounts of dollars. Ask them why they are borrowing money from China instead of providing manufacturing jobs. Ask them how they plan to pay the entitlements like the debt-ridden Social Security with dollars that are worth more than the dollars we put in. Ask them about the impact of adding 10% more to our population virtually overnight. Let them know you are angry, and smart enough to direct your anger at the source - the U.S. Congress, the best politicians money can buy.

A Federal court is hearing a littering charge against a pro-invader who leaves plastic bottles of water in a wildlife refuge to aid and abet illegal aliens. The mitigating circumstances are that he removes trash at the time he is leaving out the bottles.
http://www.azstarnet.com/allheadlines/249979
What is weird is that this is a refuge, it's not like the water could be used for animals, or tourists, but only by trespassers and ... illegal alien invaders. So he he is, blatantly showing contempt for the laws of aiding and abetting, and his actions encourage even more illegal aliens to attempt the dangerous desert crossing. And as a consequence, causing even more deaths. I hope the court sees the irony in this, and charges and sentences him accordingly.

The e-Verify system is working, and is working so well that the pro-invasion Democrats in charge have mounted a 2-prong attack against it.
In the Senate, Bob Menendez (D-NJ (973) 645-3030) has placed a 'hold' on bringing the e-Verify reauthorization bill up for a vote. If not reauthorized it will expire in November.
Senator Menendez has announced that he intends to hold reauthorization of E-Verify hostage until Congress submits to his demand to drastically increase the number of permanent, employment-based visas to be made available to US employers seeking to import foreign workers to permanently take American Jobs. He claims that he would do this by “recapturing unused” employment-based visas from as far back as 1991 and then add them to the current numerical cap of 140,000 employment-based visas that are available each year.
The State Department estimates that the Menendez plan would add 550,000 additional employment-based visas, which would remain available until they are all used. Current law, however, clearly states that any employment-based visas not used in one year are allocated to the family-preference categories in the following year. That means that there are no “unused” visas from past years to “recapture.” Sen. Menendez ignores this provision of law, though it is safe to say he would not ignore the part of the law that says that any family-based visas not used in one year are allocated to the employment-based category for the following year.
The fact is that current law ensures that all visas are used by transferring them between the two major categories of legal, permanent visas: family-based and employment-based. Senator Menendez needs to understand that the only way to "recapture" 550,000 "unused" employment-based visas is to "recapture" them from the family-based category to which they were reallocated.
In the House, the traitorous Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) and John Conyers (D-MI) are trying to curb the term of the program to 10 or even as little as 3 years with the thought of killing it altogether during the next presidential term.
UPDATE - In the House, a compromise has been reached for extending the program for 5 years.

Update! Lou Dobbs Spanks LULAC Over Illegal Alien Care -
You will love this one if you are an American. I love the silence when Lou asks why the hospital and American taxpayers should pay, but LULAC shouldn't.
ref: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvpAgWtxwoI
This one should make you think. It's about a hospital, tired of receiving 10 cents on the dollar of Federal hospital reimbursements for illegal alien care, who shipped an alien, at their expense, back to his country of origin after saving his life.

UPDATE - The illegal alien in the coma died, and now the family wants to sue the hospital for saving his life in the first place.
And speaking of hospitals, a human resources person ran a routine background check on an applicant and reported to authorities that the SSN used belonged to a dead person. So when the police arrested the perp, it turns out that she is a (Gasp!) ILLEGAL ALIEN. So now the racist Hispanic invasion-supporting groups are crying 'foul, you have no right to check citizenship of job applicants'.

Isn't it time to end the 'Homeland Hoedown' at airports and stop dancing for the Washington elites, given the estimated 7000 terrorists already in this country, and the ease of gaining airport access by illegal alien invaders?

The 'story' (http://www.contracostatimes.com/news/ci_10236615) posted by CCTimes today could well have been written thus -
POTTSVILLE, Pa.—Courthouse protests by caused a brief interruption in the preliminary hearing of three teenagers charged in the beating death of a Mexican illegal alien in a small Pennsylvania town.
About 40 right-wing extremists and Marxists protesters outside the courthouse in Pottsville were told to keep quiet or they would be forced to move. The protesters are from workers and alien invaders' rights groups.
A defense attorney complained about the distraction and the hearing was recessed for several minutes until the protesters quieted down. There have been no arrests.
25-yr old Luis Ramirez, an illegal alien from Mexico, was attacked July 12 when he crossed paths with a group of teens in the town of Shenandoah, about 80 miles northwest of Philadelphia. An under-aged girlfriend was in the company of Ramirez at the time. Ramirez is engaged to a 24-yr old American woman who has had 2 children by him.
A judge is deciding if there is enough evidence against the three to send the case to trial.

This is encouraging and disturbing at the same time. The good news is that so many police forces have taken up the offer to be trained by ICE that the federal funding has run out. The bad news is that the federal funding has run out.

So how is it we have money to throw at New Orleans (a natural disaster looking for a time to happen) for hurricane relief, but not to repel the invading illegal alien invaders? Didn't see anything about THAT in either campaign acceptance speech!

Floodgates Opened for Hondurans' Asylum -
A recent decision by a Federal immigration judge opens up the floodgates for asylum to UNLIMITED numbers of aliens seeking asylum for sexual abuse.

Judge grants asylum to 3 children on sex abuse claim
BY DAVE MARCUS
dave.marcus@newsday.com
September 13, 2008
A federal immigration judge has granted asylum to three Brentwood children who said they had been abused in their home country of Honduras. The unusual decision, announced by the family Friday and immediately condemned by anti-immigration groups, could set a precedent for other immigrants who claim abuse, legal scholars said.
"We are happier than words can express," said the children's father, Margarito Mejia, a contractor. "What a great country this is."
[CORRECTION: The federal Department of Homeland Security has declared it will crack down on immigrants who enter the country illegally. The wrong federal agency was cited as taking that stance in a story yesterday about a federal immigration judge’s granting asylum to three Brentwood children who said they had been abused in their home country of Honduras. Pg. A27 NS; A23 C 9/14/08] Mejia's lawyer, David Sperling of Central Islip, said officials are showing a humanitarian attitude toward children who have suffered abroad even as the Justice Department has declared it will crack down on immigrants who enter the country illegally.
The Department of Homeland Security, which opposed asylum, has 30 days to decide whether to appeal the ruling. Sperling called the judge's decision "bulletproof" and said he doesn't expect an appeal.
Groups that call for tougher enforcement of immigration laws condemned the ruling.
"It's unfortunately part of a trend where asylum is expanding to areas it was never meant for," said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, a Washington think tank.
Legal experts said they know of no previous cases in which a federal judge granted asylum to those claiming sexual abuse.
Professor Lauris Wren, director of Hofstra University's Political Asylum Clinic, called the Mejia decision "very significant," and added, "It's paving the way for future cases."
Under immigration law, refugees are eligible for asylum if they've been persecuted because of race, religion, political opinion, national origin or membership in a particular social group. Judge Gabriel Videla interpreted the law in an unusual way, saying the children were members of "a particular social group abandoned by their parents."
The children's mother left them after Hurricane Mitch flooded parts of Honduras and destroyed their home in 1998. Their father came to the United States legally, under a rule that granted Hondurans work permits after the hurricane.
In 2005, immigration agents caught his son and two daughters sneaking into Texas from Mexico. The children were detained, then released to await a hearing. The girls said they had been sexually abused by a male cousin, and their brother said he had been beaten constantly.
"The children's vulnerability was reason for their caretakers to exploit, abuse and persecute them," the judge wrote. "The children, from a very young age, have suffered astonishing hardship."
With asylum, the children next year can become permanent residents, or green-card holders. They will be eligible for citizenship in five years.
The children reacted with elation Friday. The oldest girl, who is 15, said she wants to be a doctor. Her 14-year-old sister said she wants to be a lawyer. And their 11-year-old brother said he wants to be a police officer.
"They can go to college here, the doors are completely open," Sperling said. "It's the American dream for these kids."

Tancredo Offers Advice to Rangel in Plain English
Invites Rangel to co-sponsor legislation making English official language
( WASHINGTON, D.C. ) – U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Littleton) today sent the following letter to Charles Rangel, the Chairman of the House Committee on Ways and Means. Rangel has been under increasing scrutiny for failing to report $75,000 in earned income. Rangel has blamed his failure to report the income on his inability to comprehend Spanish.
# # # #
September 17, 2008
Dear Chairman Rangel,
Like many Americans, I have followed recent news coverage detailing your failure to report thousands of dollars in income derived from rental property. In part, you attributed this to the fact that much of the communication relating to the house was conducted in Spanish, making it difficult for you to understand the potential tax ramifications of your investment.
I am sympathetic to your concerns, and would like to invite you to co-sponsor legislation I introduced (H.J.Res.19) which would make English the official language of the United States.
While passage of this bill will do little to reform our hopelessly complex tax code – or assist you in escaping your current ethical dilemma – its passage may help ensure that future generations of Americans less wealthy than yourself can live in a country where they can use an ATM, call a customer service department, or shop at their local grocery store without having to find a translator or “Press 1 for English” as they must often do in the America of today.
Please contact me if you would like more information about the resolution.

Look For Hospital Closures Soon -
The federal program (EMTALA) that created an emergency fund to pay for care at hospitals for illegal aliens is winding down in a couple of weeks.
http://www.azcentral.com/business/articles/2008/09/19/20080919biz-hospit...
Here's the rules and basic outline of the program -

Estimated impact on California hospitals (3/28/08) -
ref: http://www.wvwnews.net/story.php?id=3978
California Over 60 emergency rooms have closed and locally funded initiatives in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Riverside counties now pay for health insurance for illegal immigrants in those jurisdictions. One-third of the patients treated by the Los Angeles county health system each year are illegal aliens. Los Angeles, a magnet for legal and illegal immigration, is a prime example of immigration overwhelming a health system. Since the early 1990s, the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services (LACHS) has been on the verge of collapse several times, saved only by bailouts from the federal government. LACHS bears the burden of providing treatment for two million people without health insurance and faces an anticipated $300 million deficit, accumulating to nearly $800 million over the next five years. 16 health clinics and two hospitals were forced to close their doors to everyone
LACHS is sharply curtailing services at dozens of county clinics, hospitals, and emergency rooms, which serve primarily the working poor and indigent. If no additional state or federal funds are forthcoming, county health officials have proposed closing emergency, trauma, and in-patient services at three hospitals, along with two-thirds of the county health center clinics and 100 private outpatient clinics. "If these critical county trauma centers are closed, there is absolutely no doubt that injured people, both with and without medical insurance, will die unnecessarily because the other trauma centers are simply too far away," says Dr. Robert Hockberger, chair of Harbor-UCLA's Department of Emergency Medicine
Scripps Memorial Hospital in Chula Vista estimates that about one quarter of patients who are uninsured and don't pay their bills are illegal aliens. The hospital loses $7 million to $10 million in uncompensated costs.
In Santa Cruz hospitals are so crowded that they regularly close their doors to new emergency patients. When they're open, patients often have to wait up to ten hours. 30 to 40 percent of the Community Clinic of Orange County's patients in Santa Ana are illegal immigrants Regional Medical Center and Pioneers Memorial Hospital in El Centro, California loses over $1.5 million annually treating illegal immigrants.

Re-Trial of BP Agent Pending -
A second trial of agent Corbett is scheduled since the first one ended in a hung jury. This is the trial of the agent who accosted illegal aliens trying to escape back to Mexico when their invasion attempt was thwarted. Notice how the article plays down the loss of $10k paid to the coyote as a possible motive for attacking the agent. This is the incident where the Mexican Consulate had access to the witnesses before the sheriffs could finish their interrogation.

Killers Deported? Not Really!
You would like to believe that it can't happen here. But it does. This article illustrates the ongoing problem of convicted murderers who are illegal aliens who can't be deported because their countries of origin refuse to take them back. So they are returned to the general American population.

Recent ICE raids have been successful because the perps are given a choice of either easy deportation, or 'day in court' on aggravated identity theft charges. The few who insisted on their 'day in court' suffered a setback by a Federal appeals court that wasn't swayed by the argument that the illegal aliens had to know the number belonged to someone in order for the 'aggravated' charge to stick. They have appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Spin From Spun Story Spun Out
The recent Always Pathethic (AP) story about Chertoff's employment verification rules were grossly under-reported. Chertoff wants to expand eVerify to send out 'no match' letters to all employers over a certain number of employees. At the time of the court injunction the fault rate of eVerify was 6-7%. Today it is closer to .05%. That is the reason the Democrans and Republicats allowed it to nearly expire last month, and only granted it a temporary 1-year reprieve. It was becoming too effective a tool against the illegal alien invaders. It only makes sense to have the court address it again now that the fault rate is well within acceptable tolerances. Who knows? Maybe it will actually ferret out some of the 6,000+ terrorists estimated to be within our borders already.

As we come up on Halloween it is appropriate that the 'bedtime tale' being read to us by our elitist 'representatives' should have the following ending -
Associated Press
Oct. 29, 2008, 10:09AM
McALLEN — Frustrated by a crackdown on South Texas drug smuggling routes, the Mexican Gulf Cartel is stockpiling high-powered weapons and recruiting local gang members on both sides of the border to prepare for possible confrontations with U.S. law enforcement, according to an FBI intelligence report.
The regional leader of the cartel's enforcer group, the Zetas, Jaime "El Hummer" Gonzalez Duran ordered dozens of reinforcements to Reynosa, Mexico, across the river from McAllen, the report said.
"These replacements are believed to be armed with assault rifles, bulletproof vests and grenades and are occupying safe houses throughout the McAllen area," the report obtained by The McAllen Monitor said.
The Monitor reported in today's editions that the local FBI office refused to comment on the report.
Erik Vasys, an FBI spokesman in San Antonio, refused to discuss the details of the report but told The Associated Press "we acknowledge the Zetas are a significant problem in Mexico and they have the potential to pose a significant problem to law enforcement on this side of the border."
Less than two weeks ago, the Border Patrol, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Hidalgo County sheriff announced that they would not be intimidated by cartel violence. At the time, they would only say that they felt the smugglers had become increasingly confrontational and the agencies planned to increase their coordination.
Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Trevino said at the time that his deputies patrolling near the Rio Grande would be issued high-powered rifles and authorized to return fire.
U.S. law enforcement has had several recent successes that have likely frustrated the cartel.
In September, "Project Reckoning" nabbed more than 175 cartel members and affiliates in the U.S.
The sheriff of neighboring Starr County was indicted and is being held without bond on conspiracy charges alleging that he shared intelligence with the head of a cartel cell operating in his county.
The Rio Grande Valley and its Mexican sister cities have largely avoided the drug war massacre that has plagued Ciudad Juarez, Mexico across the border from El Paso. More than 1,100 people have died in the violence there this year.
With both major political parties barfing out amnesty-prone candidates, imagine how much fun Homeland Security will have ferreting out the spies for the drug cartels among the 12 - 20M current illegal alien invaders who would be given amnesty.

Any fool can be an AZ Supreme Court Judge?
Further UPDATE1: World Net Daily learned that a representative of the AZ SC threatened to sue the blog that first released the story (www.judicialwatch.org).
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=80436
UPDATE: Now it seems the official word is that the judge DID NOT respond to the reconquista request. However, she DID distribute the request to the Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals to be distributed to those judges, as well as to other AZ Supreme Court justices. What is interesting is the list of 'terms' presented by the reconquistas that are 'inappropriate'.
http://ktar.com/?sid=986969&nid=6
Apparently you don't even have to understand basic elements of law to be a SC justice in Arizona. Here's a story about one who is so 'politically correct' you wonder how she ever passed the bar exam in the first place ...
http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2008/nov/judge-ban-use-illegal-and-ali...
What is great is one of the comments that takes a ruling from a federal court decision that shows what a mockery the AZ judge makes of the law.
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Justices: Sims, Raye and Hull, said in a decision:
"Defendants prefer the term “undocumented immigrants.” However,
defendants do not cite any authoritative definition of the term
and do not support their assertion that the terms “undocumented
immigrant” and “illegal alien” are interchangeable. We consider
the term “illegal alien” less ambiguous. Thus, under federal
law, an “alien” is “any person not a citizen or national of the
United States.” (8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(3).) A “national of the
United States” means a U.S. citizen or a noncitizen who owes
permanent allegiance to the United States. (8 U.S.C. §
1101(a)(22).) Under federal law, “immigrant” means every alien
except those classified by federal law as nonimmigrant aliens.
(8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(15).) “Nonimmigrant aliens” are, in
general, temporary visitors to the United States, such as
diplomats and students who have no intention of abandoning their
residence in a foreign country. (8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(15)(F),
(G); Elkins v. Moreno (1978) 435 U.S. 647, 664-665 [55 L.Ed.2d
614, 627-628] [under pre-1996 law, held the question whether
nonimmigrant aliens could become domiciliaries of Maryland for
purposes of in-state college tuition was a matter of state
law].) The federal statutes at issue in this appeal refer to
“alien[s] who [are] not lawfully present in the United States.”
(8 U.S.C. §§ 1621(d), 1623.) In place of the cumbersome phrase
“alien[s] who [are] not lawfully present,” we shall use the term
“illegal aliens.” "

This Just Seem Unnatural ...
From Obamaland comes this gem of 'rights' and entitlements. Bear in mind there are Federal laws on the books regarding aiding and abetting illegal aliens. But in Illinois, their thinking is that we should pay illegal aliens workman's disability, which may or may not have been paid by an employer. Don't you have to have a SSN to receive state benefits? How can you have a valid SSN if you are an illegal alien? Wouldn't it be fraud to even apply for benefits without an SSN, or with a fraudulent SSN? WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?!!!

Chilling Effects of Ramos / Compean Debacle
As was predicted in earlier articles, the trial and incarceration of BP Agents Ramos and Compean have had the effect of neutering the effectiveness of our first line of defense of our southern border. Caught red-handed at the border with a huge load of drugs, our BP agents refrained from returning fire from the automatic weapons of the drug smugglers.

Hate Crime, Terrorist Act, or Act of War?
The following story of the assaults on a man and his wife (who is the Director of Minuteman America Defense) begs the question - was this a hate crime (Spanish spoken during rape of wife), terrorist acts (by international gangs), or act of war? What makes us think the same think can't happen here, in Concord?

Free Ramos and Compean!
Another blow to the Nacho Ramos
Upon returning to the house with her 3 boys, her eldest son opened the front door. He was immediately hit with the smell a large amount of gas in the air, he yelled to his mom, she told him not to turn the light on. Monica safely removed her children from the area.
It is then she found her home had been broken into! Computer equipment destroyed, couches and chairs slashed, cherished wedding pictures, pictures of her life with Nacho and their children were ripped off the walls, shelves and slammed to the ground. DVDs & player taken, and the entire house ransacked! They even beat her dogs!
Thank God no one turned on a light! Monica and her three boys would be gone!!!
One has to ask, is this case related??? Is Monica getting to close to exposing the truth in this outrageous injustice to her husband and Jose Compean???
My God how much more must these families endure! These men should be home protecting their families, just as they tried to protect our Country!!!
Talk about CRUEL & UNUSUAL PUNISHMENT, Just how will Nacho even shut his eyes knowing someone attempted to blow up his family!
We must be relentless demanding The President commute the sentences of these men, return them to their families and their jobs.

Comparing adding debt from a war to adding debt from healthcare misses the point - EITHER WAY YOU ARE ADDING DEBT!!!
And paying medical benefits for pregnant illegal aliens so they can drop more 'a n c h o r b a b i e s' is downright ludicrous! Where's the environmental impact report for those 10's of millions of teeming aliens who refuse to assimilate? Why stop there? Why not start sending empty ships to Africa and bring 10s of millions of them over here as well? Then turn to India. At least most of them speak English!
Even George Miller voted for it.

Kidnapping, Torture Now Coming To A Neighborhood Near You…Mexican Drug Cartels Now In The U.S.
In December 2008, U.S. citizen, security expert, and hostage negotiator Felix Batista was kidnapped in Saltillo, in the state of Coahuila, Mexico, as he stood outside a local restaurant. Batista, who works for Houston-based ASI Global, has negotiated the release of hostages being held by Columbian terrorists. He has also been instrumental in gaining the safe return of many kidnap victims in Mexico.
Law enforcement officials on both sides of the border believe that the brutal enforcers known as the Zetas, working for the Gulf Cartel abducted Batista in a display of their power, and as an act of retaliation for the help which Batista has provided to Mexican law enforcement.
At the time of his abduction, Batista was in Mexico conducting security seminars for state police officers.
For the last few years, the U.S. State Department has annually renewed their travel advisory on Mexico, warning American tourists of the rampant kidnappings and murders, now crippling that country.
Travel warnings on Mexico are nothing new, and most Americans are aware that they may very well be targeted by organized crime while traveling in that country. However, what those same Americans may not know is that many of those same criminals are now moving north and abducting U.S. citizens right in their own homes.
In November 2008, three Mexican gang members disguised as police officers burst into a Las Vegas home, hogtied a woman and her boyfriend, and kidnapped the woman´s 6 year old son Cole Puffinburger.
Apparently, the boy´s grandfather Fred Tinnenmeyer, owed the cartel several thousand dollars. The little boy was released three days later.
Shortly after the kidnapping, Tinnenmeyer was arrested by federal authorities. The kidnappers are still at large.
In August 2008, Reuters reported on an American businesswoman identified only as "Veronica," who had been kidnapped a few months earlier. As she was exiting her car in California, two men forced her into the passenger seat at gunpoint, then shoved her teenage daughter into the back seat and took the pair to Mexico.
The kidnappers drove through the border checkpoint in San Diego, bringing the mother and daughter to Tijuana. The two were held captive for a month until their family paid the ransom of $100,000.
Veronica said of her experience: "We got an automatic green light to go through Mexican customs and then we were blindfolded and taken to a house in Tijuana. They held a pistol to my stomach all the time we were in the car."
Mexican intelligence officials claim that Veronica is only one of about 30 Americans abducted in southern California and taken to Tijuana since last November.
Mexican officials have been aware of the growing number U.S. abductions for some time. Baja California State Attorney General Rommel Moreno recently told Reuters news agency: "Transnational kidnappings are a new way of operating for these criminal groups, mainly in California, and so we are seeking collaboration with the United States."
In 2007, a chilling incident took place in Pearsall, Texas, just outside of San Antonio. A tow-truck driver was kidnapped and taken back to Mexico by enforcers working for drug traffickers.
Apparently, the traffickers were angry at the loss of drug proceeds they had hidden away in a spare tire of a car which had been towed from an accident on Interstate 35, the main road from San Antonio to the city of Laredo.
In April 2008, a federal grand jury indicted the five assailants for the kidnapping.
Prosecutors claim that the men were offered $15,000 to bring the tow-truck driver to Mexico. They lured the driver to Frio County Regional Park in Pearsall after phoning in a fake request for a tow, they then abducted and brought him across the border to Piedras Negras. The indictment describes the driver being "tortured and interrogated about the missing spare tire" for a week.
The driver´s boss was phoned by the kidnappers and told that if he did not return their money, that they would "cut the head off of the driver."
In 2002, members of Mexico´s Arellano Felix crime organization set up shop in the San Diego area, and began a kidnapping and extortion operation. Fearing reprisals, their victims failed to report the incidents to police, and went undetected for years. During that time, the gang used their profits to purchase weapons, police uniforms, badges, even police lights for their vehicles.
In 2007, Los Palillos were finally busted by local and federal law enforcement.
Police claim that the group, known as Los Palillos (the Toothpicks), murdered at least a dozen people, committed 20 kidnappings and transported huge amounts of methamphetamine to Kansas City, Mo., to help finance their organization´s ongoing war with the Tijuana Cartel in Tijuana, all of course, from San Diego County.
In August 2008, the FBI´s San Diego field office admitted that they were currently investigating the kidnapping of 16 U.S. residents who were held in Tijuana between October 2007 and May 2008, including many of whom were abducted in San Diego.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, as of mid November, there had been 266 kidnappings and 300 home invasions during 2008. However, police estimate the actual numbers to be closer to three times as high as the reported figures. Many victims fail to report such crimes, out of fear from further retribution from the notoriously violent cartels.
Phoenix Police Lt. Lori Burgett told CBS News: "It wasn´t uncommon to have a new kidnapping case coming into our offices on a daily basis."
On April 11, 2008, the U.S. Justice Department´s National Drug Intelligence Center released a situation report, illustrating just how widespread the activities of Mexican drug cartels have become throughout the U.S.
The sobering assessment read: "Mexican DTO´s (Drug Trafficking Organizations) are the most pervasive organizational threat to the United States. They are active in every region of the country and dominate the illicit drug trade in every area except the Northeast. Mexican DTO´s are expanding their operations in the Northeast and have developed cooperative relationships with DTO´s in that area in order to gain a larger share of the Northeastern drug market."
According to the report, Mexican drug traffickers are now operating in 195 U.S. cities. In 129 of those cities, law enforcement has determined that those traffickers are directly affiliated with one or more of the four major Mexican drug cartels.
The Justice Department has identified 82 U.S. cities with trafficking operations directed by the Federation Cartel; 43 cities with operations being directed by the Gulf Coast Cartel; 44 cities with operations being directed by the Juarez Cartel; and finally, operations in 20 cities under the control of the Tijuana Cartel.
What follows is a small sampling of the American cities in the report, and the identified cartels operating within those cities:
Phoenix, AZ…Federation, Juarez
Tucson, AZ…Federation, Juarez
Little Rock, AK…Federation
Los Angeles, CA…Federation, Tijuana
San Diego, CA…Federation, Tijuana
Colorado Springs, CO…Federation, Juarez
Jacksonville, FL…Gulf Coast
Orlando, FL…Federation, Gulf Coast
Atlanta, GA…Federation, Gulf Coast, Juarez
Chicago, IL…Federation, Gulf Coast, Juarez
Fort Wayne, IN…Federation
Witchita, KS…Juarez
Shreveport, LA…Federation
Boston, MA…Federation, Gulf Coast, Juarez, Tijuana
Hattiesburg, MS…Federation
Omaha, NE…Federation, Gulf Coast, Juarez, Tijuana
Buffalo, NY…Gulf Coast
New York City, NY…federation, Gulf Coast, Tijuana
Charlotte, NC…Federation, Juarez
Raleigh, NC…Federation, Gulf Coast, Juarez
Akron, OH…Federation
Cleveland, OH…Federation, Tijuana
Tulsa, OK…Federation
Philadelphia, PA…Federation, Gulf Coast, Juarez, Tijuana
Providence, RI…Federation
Sioux Falls, SD…Gulf Coast, Tijuana
El Paso, TX…Federation, Gulf Coast, Juarez
Fort Worth, TX…Federation, Gulf Coast
Waco, TX…Juarez
Arlington, VA…Federation
Rock Springs, WY…Juarez
Incidentally, the Justice Department report listed a total of 30 cities in Texas where cartel operations have been identified.
If the U.S. federal government does not soon take seriously, this threat from the drug cartels, it will not be 195 of our cities in which they operate, it will be all of them. If these criminal organizations are largely ignored, as they continue to exploit a largely unprotected border, kidnappings and gunfights will become a sad fact of life for every community in this country.
Swift and harsh action must be taken immediately against the drug cartels of Mexico, or life in both nations will become permanently untenable.

Amnesty II
You know Amnesty II is on its way. The same pols who broke their word in 1986 are about to bring it around again, hoping TV has dulled you memories like the Waters of Lethe. The following story is why we don't need another amnesty. We need new pols.
Rich Campbell: Family of injured illegal immigrant shows 'gratitude' by suing hospital?
By Rich Campbell (Contact)
Sunday, February 22, 2009
What happened to Luis Jimenez is a tragedy.
But what’s about to happen next is a travesty.
This fall, a jury likely will be empaneled to determine whether Martin Memorial Medical Center was guilty of false imprisonment and kidnapping when it deported Jimenez to his native Guatemala.
Jimenez, an illegal immigrant, was working as a gardener in Stuart when he suffered massive brain trauma in 2000 after the van he was traveling in was struck head-on by a drunk driver.
For the next two-plus years the hospital provided uncompensated medical care for the uninsured Jimenez.
Cost? More than $2 million.
Martin Memorial was granted a court order in 2003 to transfer Jimenez to a hospital in Guatemala, which it did, even chartering a jet to facilitate the transfer. In 2004, a higher court reversed the order, ruling the judge in the case had no authority to authorize Jimenez’s deportation.
Enter the attorneys.
The law firm of Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley, P.A., has taken up the family’s cause and plans to seek financial damages from the hospital for “forcibly” removing Jimenez.
Are you kidding me?
Jack Scarola, one of the partners at the firm representing the Jimenez family, attempted to argue the case in “Principles of fairness should apply to all: Martin Memorial needs to correct the ‘wrong’ suffered by illegal immigrant” (Feb. 21).
“While I understand the emotional response of many to the very complex issues surrounding the problem of illegal immigration,” Scarola wrote, “I am firmly convinced that open-minded, impartial jurors — when fully informed of the circumstances of Luis’ illegal deportation — will agree that his is a story that needs to be told and that the wrong he has suffered needs to be corrected.”
Good luck finding “open-minded, impartial jurors” who will feel compelled to correct the “wrong” suffered by your client, Mr. Scarola.
I suspect the vast majority of open-minded, impartial people in these parts will view this case as little more than a money grab — and an affront to common sense.
Just how much money should a hospital spend caring for an uninsured illegal immigrant: $1 million, $2 million, $5 million?
Folks, when a hospital provides health care for people who don’t have insurance, the hospital doesn’t just write it off as a loss. It passes the cost on to you and me: the insured.
Ever wonder why your health-insurance premiums increase by double-digit percentages year after year? One reason is unpaid health-care services provided to illegal aliens. The Florida Hospital Association estimates its members incurred $100 million in uncompensated care for illegal immigrants in 2007.
It’s a safe bet the legal fees incurred by Martin Memorial to fight lawsuits of this nature are passed on, too, in the form of higher health-care costs and insurance premiums for the rest of us.
Scarola began his column by “acknowledging the debt of gratitude Luis owes the doctors and nurses who helped save his life.”
For this “gratitude” the hospital gets to defend itself in court?
Heaven help us.

Amnesty II - Right On Schedule
Last week I predicted Amnesty II would rear its head within six weeks. Today Napolitano requested justification for the workplace raid in Washington the netted 28 illegal alien invaders.
http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5gm0PBzLQKD0eS9x9Lib3Sv...
And on another front the Supreme Court is deliberating on whether illegal aliens who didn't know the SSN numbers they used belonged to authorized recipients are guilty of identity theft. I thought this ground was covered in that if an arsonist torches a building unaware of it being occupied, they can be charged with murder. So if the Supremes can't find time to determine if Obama is a 'natural born citizen', how do they find time to look at this?

Aftermath of the Raid
The following article gives a good depiction of the results of the raid in a unbiased, factual manner -
http://www.mysanantonio.com/opinion/Immigration_laws_need_more_than_spin...
And from Rush Limbaugh we hear -
Say, folks: we have a new definition of what constitutes "un-American" behavior from the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. Speaking at Saint Anthony's Church in San Francisco before a group of immigrants (legal and illegal), Speaker Pelosi took aim at Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
She accused them of kicking in doors in the middle of the night in order to send parents away from their children. "It must be stopped... what value system is that? I think it's un-American," she said. But she did have kind words for the immigrants in the audience -- including those here illegally. They are "very, very patriotic," because they are taking responsibility "for our country's future."
Now, I know many of you find this sickening. You wonder why those who enforce our laws are called "un-American," while those who break the law are called patriots...
What you are witnessing is liberalism on parade; unplugged. You see an America... 180 degrees out of phase. Some of you voted for it -- you should be ashamed.

Hire Illegals, Expect 2 Do Time
This is a report on the management at the Kosher meat processing plant in Iowa who was charged with hiring illegal aliens.
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/nation/6322042.html
It's interesting to note the timing - business owners are finally getting getting nailed by ICE for hiring illegal aliens, and Pelosi is calling the arrests 'un-American' and the illegal aliens 'patriots'. Amnesty II must be right around the corner.

Emergency Relief To Illegal Aliens
When you read the following article check out the recipients of the funds to be 'redistributed'. The Catholic Church is a major provacateur and supporter of the invasion of illegal aliens into our country. So we know for sure that illegal aliens will be benefitting from Napolitano's efforts. Why she presents this clueless front makes me wonder how intelligent she thinks Americans really are.

View of the Future?
The recent push by Congress for Amnesty II is a prime example of the short-sightedness that keeps its approval rating in single digits. Europe, particularly Britain, is a harbinger of the catastrophic unlimited immigration form of national suicide that Congress is so desparate to foist on Americans.

Amnesty II, Act II
A few short months ago Congress introduced the Dream Act to give amnesty to children born of parents '... subject to another jurisdiction...' and to illegal alien children born outside the country (such as Obama).
Today Sen.(orita) Feinstein introduced a bill to give ersatz farmworkers amnesty. I say ersatz because in the article farmers admit that a lot of farmworkers turned to the construction industry when jobs were plentiful. So now Feinstein would have us believe they won't replace union and non-union Americans in those jobs when those jobs come back.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce (globalists) have filed a court case that gave Obama the excuse to delay the executive order that all contractors with the Federal government must use eVerify. Really Twisted Logic
It doesn't get much crazier than this. Obama (Soetoro?) is following the lead of prior loopy left presidents who want to grant political asylum to abused women. To do this, the women must prove that the countries they come from have a pervasive attitude that supports the abuse, and they can't find a safe place in their own country, among other things.
Now fast forward to the current policy to give amnesty to predominantly male illegal aliens, predominantly from these same countries where the abuse is pervasive! Why would any sane adult promote an policy to import a problem from another country?!! Don't we have enough problems of our own?!!
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jul/24/obama-women-abuse-political-...
If you don't believe Amnesty II is upon us, read the health care bill being considered. Congress already considered and voted to include illegal aliens in the benefits package paid by U.S. citizens. So let's see ... no eVerify for job protection, free schools, free health care ... A M N E S T Y by fiat!

The US used to adjust the numbers of "LEGAL" IMMIGRANTS BY ETHNICITY AND NATIONALITY. Too many Filipinos then that number is cut and more South Americans allowed to enter, or more Russians and Poles from Poland. In its current liberalized state....there is no monitoring of either legal or illegal immigration. The New World Order Liberals ....want open borders to flood the US destroy our nation and keep a few corrupt liberals in charge skimming off the top.
IN European Union Countries, illegal immigrants and workers are now being deported from Austria, Germany, France, Italy Spain and Portugal back to Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
With a broken economy and Welfare roles bankrupting the nation, it is time to repatriate illegals like the European countries are doing. In Italy, France and Spain they protect jobs for their own citizens first. They do not allow students to overstay, vacation, or student visas and citizens report businesses that use illegal labor detrimental to nationals. In Japan a child born illegally in Japan can never become a Japanese citizen, there are different categories of citizenship. Its time the US implement the same policy....freeing up the Welfare roles for US citizens only.
To Fix Immigration problems in the US. No immigrants should be allowed into he US for 4yrs.......just so our goverment can assess who is hear, who they are, if they are criminals or collecting welfare breaking other US laws. Enough is enough those are not the kinds of people we would grant citizenship to.
There are more than 26,000,000,000 million illegal aliens in the US and that does not include the 40-50 extended family members they could bring in if an "Amnesty Program Succeeded"
JOBS AND BENEFITS AND HEALTHCARE FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS ONLY......EVERYONE ELSE GO BACK HOME AND LET YOUR GOVERNMENT PAY FOR SCHOOLING, HEALTHCARE, DISABILITY AND RETIREMENT BENEFITS........Especially Mexico a very rich OIL nation, that dumps its poor, criminal and uneducated masses on our backs. The trillions in Oil revenues are never used to fix Mexicos' problems or help its citizens....The Mexican government uses America as a dumping ground to educate, medicate and incarcerate its massive underclass.

The proposal to let highly educated professionals with graduate degrees in science, technology, engineering and math makes sense. The work and new ideas these people do brings new technology to the US, creating more jobs for those with lesser degrees. By making it ridiculously hard for such people to get green cards (7 to 10 years wait for many of them), we force them to take their job-creation to Canada, India, China, where they build up the high tech industries there. Anyone who wants good jobs in the US should support letting the most productive people stay here. These are the people who built Silicon Valley, and we need more of them, not less.

Wrinkle in the Ointment
This is the problem with the proposal you support. The Dept. of Labor, especially in the past 8 years, is notorious for turning away from any investigations of fraud in the H1-b and H2-b visas.

This will also be the problem with ObamaCare - there are no provisions to weed out illegal aliens from receiving health benefits at taxpayer expense. Let alone a will to enforce such provisions.

Are Squatters 'Inhabitants'?
The following article raises a good question regarding the upcoming census. The bottom line question is should illegal aliens be counted in the census which determines a long term political commitment? Should states like Michigan be punished for enforcing immigration laws while states like Mexifornia cheat on the same laws? Or, to put focus on the issue, should a citizen of say, Mexico, be allowed to vote and be represented in two countries?

President Announces Amnesty II
Obama's end-around ploy was brought to light by Rep. Joe Wilson's public accusation and the tactic of de facto amnesty by allowing illegal aliens access to the health care resources has been nipped in the bud.
So on Wednesday he made the following statements before the Hispanic Caucus -
"Even though I do not believe we can extend coverage to those who are here illegally, I also don't simply believe we can simply ignore the fact that our immigration system is broken," Mr. Obama said Wednesday evening in a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. "That's why I strongly support making sure folks who are here legally have access to affordable, quality health insurance under this plan, just like everybody else.
Mr. Obama added, "If anything, this debate underscores the necessity of passing comprehensive immigration reform and resolving the issue of 12 million undocumented people living and working in this country once and for all."
Sounds like AMNESTY II to me! Just in time for Christmas.
Don't forget Congress' words in 1986 ... 'this will be a one time amnesty' ... And 20 years later they still haven't figured out how to make it work. Only a fool would believe the same lie today.

Setting the Stage 4 AMNESTY II
A number of articles just appeared regarding Obama's role in supporting the invasion of illegal aliens of these United States. Guests on a recent O'Reilly episode included a judge that said that since the proposed Obamacare legislation does not contain any language that specifically excludes illegal aliens, they would be subject to the 'equal protection' provisions of the Constitution.
americanpatrol.com/WMV/You%20Lie%20O%27Reilly%2010-9-09%201.wmv
And Obama has decided to drop the 'match letter' program initiated by Bush that matches SSNs on tax returns against the Social Security database and flags the mismatches and notifies larger employers to contact the employees. It gives the employees 90 days to resolve the discrepancies or be subjected to dismissal. Had 'Chappaquiddick' Ted Kennedy allowed this program to start in the 80's as part of the first amnesty, we wouldn't be talking about this invasion and second amnesty now.

Push for Amnesty in Census
Our so-called 'representatives' are rabid on counting illegal aliens in the census as citizens. These are the same clowns who took an oath to protect this nation from invasion. If they can't vote because they are here illegally, why should they be counted in the census to determine how many representatives states will be apportioned to?
