It's going to be an interesting off season. It is safe to say that the Cables about to be disconnected.
I think it will be someone we would not have expected. No Al Davis Loyalist or Puppet. He's probably going to go out on a limb this time and try to find another great young mind. We will not see gruden/allen back, nor the likes of a Cowher, Billick, Dungy, or Holmgrum. No one wants to work for a mad man to play the role of puppet. It would be nice to get a Coach who can hire his own coaches and own systems.
Our defense would be better if we are able to blitz and play something other than MAN.
Marc Trestman was a rumor, but maybe Marriucci will return to the bay, if we can hire a GM (not likely, but needed for 20 years)..We need a coach on a 5 year plan to weed out Al's Trash. The cap hits will be worth it in some cases. If they are trying to get a stadium in the Bay...they better win soon or back to LA they will go...
I am curious to how this madness will pan out. Before this seasons end, Cable needs to let Hackett call some plays. He's a brilliant coach. He knows #2's strength and weaknesses..

To answer your HC question, I am going to say, Flores or Madden as GM and Mariucci or Jim Harbaugh as HC. I think before Davis goes outside of the organization for a GM he will hire one from within, hence Madden or Flores. As far as HC my guess is he goes for someone familiar with the offensive side of the ball, hence Mariucci or Harbaugh. Just my opinion.
