there is no doubt that this team is among the most talented that has been here in a while. only talents i really wanted added to this team. where Brian Dawkins who we have in mike mitchell, and a new Right Guard. we will see what johnson does. Im looking forward to this season and the one after it. In a quest to receive the 4th championship that is over due to be here.
looking foward to more moves to be made and more additions to this powerhouse of a contender the Xplosive Raiders

Oh yea we are going on a winning streak. Im calling it early so I wont have to say it again later. My team! I belive in damn sure making the playoffs and kicking alot more [bleep]. I got a lot on my shoulders and alot riding for the next 8 years, This team has no option but to win.

First off, I hate the DHB pick. Effing hate it to high heavens. I know you and my man Future have done massive battle on it, but DHB is the wackest pick since Jano. Ridiculous. DHB effed my whole draft day...until the Mitchell pick and the the tv turned off. You could have had DHB at the 27th pick, but now way in God's creation does he deserve the 7th. My dude better clown, but good call on that pick - I have been reading and you were the main cat repping him. But yo man, the tape on DHB at Maryland isn't all that stellar. Cat had less than 10 100 yards games in the 3rd or 4th best conference his entire career. I know DHB's pedigree man and a blazing 40 don't make you Randy Moss. we'll see on that cat, but IMO you don't draft a cat at the 7 with questionable hands and hammy issues.
Dawg, I don't see the playoffs. If so, it's have more to do with the AFC being weak than us being good. We got a chance to do some things thanks to Cut and DEN and KC looking raggedy, but as long as SD keeps handing us our lunch, the playoffs seems a bit out of reach. Only one team is coming out of the west so we need to step up some isht if it's going to be us. Up.

i feel your opinion, but when nnamdi was picked there where complaints, DHB shows the same skills that Aso has except DHBs is for a Receiver skill set. why he didnt put up the big numbers you have too look at the talent he went up against and beat. I cant recall 3 top flight corners Crabtree went up against, nor linebackers. now DHB went against some of the best including 2 top picks, and won the battles against em, alphonso Smith and Vonte Davis shut down corners, bey went up against that and had no quarterback and still carried the team. as a matter of fact every corner bey faced he about beat and all where drafted. Macho harris, vonte davis, alphonso smith, the other Safety cant remember his name right now. any how. Bey was a monster, even calvin johnson said so. He is sharp can run block and take the ball the distance anytime. now crabtree can catch. but he cant run block or out run bey.. bey has good hands, the hamstring is nothing compared to that screw in the ankle. also bey is taller and can do more out of a bubble screen a wide receiver screen. he would get down the field faster than crabtree. while bey is looking sharp. Crabtree is crying because singletary yells at him. [bleep] this is football.
DHB at 7 is going to pay off beautifully. alot of people are going to blame the fact that we win the division on our poor division, yet in reality the raiders have got better, and as for SD handing us our lunch.. we been feeding them lunches for years. last season we where about to win the game up 15-0 in 3 quarters. well Russell can dice up that SD Defense we will beat them a bunch of choke artist? the sun should be about through shinning on those monkey [bleep]. plus the General public is tired of seeing the choke artist enter the playoffs instead of a real championship contender with history like the Raiders.
also bey has a HOF, working with him and Louis Murphy.
now stew you should know its just june the hamstring issues wont be a factor in september.

I agree that we do have a lot of talent and all of this talent knows what it is like to lose so much and soooooo badly. With a bit of luck. luck being that we do not suffer an injury bug chain reaction and we can pound the rock with Bush and Mcfadden to control the clock and move the chains a lot of great things can happen for us, and i must not forget that must not commit those all so often stupid [bleep] false starts or dropped passes. Those darn things killed us last year. Bey more than likely will not even play a whole lot. Unless Walker, shillens or higgens get hurt or in trouble. I`m sure we will run first and more positive that zach Miller will get most of the passing looks, only if they don`t dump the ball of to the backs first. that will bring the D in so then bey can get out there and stretch the field. then they can go deep every so often...........

nam was one of the last picks, so no one were cared, it wasn't like he was a top 10 pick and we sucked all the time....no one really paid much attention to the draft back then because of our dominance.....now we gotta start getting draft picks right maun for once because we are not a good team right now...so we are under a microscope....not from da media, but from fans as well....peace and i'm with stew, i don't lke the pick....rame either, he isn't here but i can tell you from our conversation over th ephone, he doesn't like the pick.

bro you were not on this website back then when nam was drafted, me either....so i don't know what people said, but it didn't matter because the raiders were winners and nam was drafted towards the end of the first round....it matters more now because we suck as a team and have sucked for years so we gotta get these goddamn picks right for once...since nam al has drafted nothing but first rounds busts just about....
so far everything i have read about your boy bey said right now there is nothing special about him....he is continuously hurt as well....hopefully he can get it together, if not, he will be another one of those fast guys who always have hammy probs....on one blog one writer said he rarely ever gets open....not good...peace

But when it come to receivers he is one of the best. I know he will put on a show. the media have turned the fans against the raiders. the unorganization hasnt helped either. well finally the raiders are gettting some real coaching. this season should be a great one.
so many critics due to the unrelentless media. the same media that trys to tear down everyone. oh well just some of the harsh realities of the entertainment world.
hopefully the good things will be brought to light as well. Miller should have been a probowler this is a good team.

well it just depends on who you like...if this was fargas witht he hammy, you would speak poorly about him, if it's a guy you like, you will take up for him....here is the truth tho....bey already isn't that good and he is raw no matter how you try to spin it....it's a fact he has been hurt for 5 weeks and "his coach" already said that the time he is spending nursing his hammy is hurting him....he needs all the practice he can get and for whatever reason these oakland wr's who are very fast usually stay hurt...
so it's not the fans, it's the coaching staff really...you need to stop picking on the fans and start reading the whole articles....at the end of the day, you and i control nothing, but if the coach himself says he is hurting himself, then he is hurting himself....cab;e sees him all the time, so if he says it, you gotta respect it...
our wr's are not good maun, they had like the worst stats ever in the history of the game last season, we could not produce a wr with 25 catches....carte was hurt for the year, chazz was hurt most of the year, walker too....so we need kats to be healthy.
the media hasn't turned fans away from oakland.....the "losing" has....the media has ripped oakland for years, even before you were born and when they were winning, fans were here...it's the osing fans are upset about...

Aye if fargas was Hurt I would take up for him.. I took up for him when he pulled the groin.. I blamed the strength and conditioning coach. As For Bey, he probably has just been over doing it. Im not the least bit worried about the Hamstring at this point. alot of Wide Receivers pull up. Randy, T.O. even Rice pulled up a few times. It happens.
Our Receivers are not the best but they are an improvement. I like the fact that people are already counting them out. Because they are really a good group they will suprise DHB was a top receiver on everyones board. The Raiders vs the media yea they been bashing. But now they are really trying to force feed alot of fans and could be fans that the Raiders are that bad.
I understand what your saying.. yet The meda rarely see good its pitiful. oh well most of that comes from Al davis being a Icon over the years.
yea Chaz I know he can do alot for this team. I remember days of raiders stomping through the NFL..

time for me to break ya down maun, rice rarely had hammy probs...in his earlier days the guy always played 16 games, so he wasn't hurt....if he was hurt all the time he would not have the records like he does....yeah moss has had hamy problems, and you see his last season with us how poorly he played and he was bad the whole season because of hammy problems....not to mention he hurt his hip too...
you see "speed" players need their speed or they are not effective....if rice ever got hurt, he would still dog you because he never had speed to begin with....he had great route running, something moss doesn't have....bey isn't a great route runner either, and he wasn't getting open much before he was injured (this was confirmed on a blog on this very site) so he needs to stay healthy....but speed alone won't get you anywhere in todays nfl....if that is the case a lot of fast guys would be good....just know this, the best wr in the nfl right now ran a 4.7 at his combine...larry fitz....and the greatest wr of all time also ran a 4.7....rice.
so speed doesn't mean as much as you make it out to be...i'm not high on bey so expect me to be hard on him...a lot of kats aren't...people like rame, you already know how stew feels now that you have spoken to him...i have been knowing that for months, lol.
i still disagree about the media pushing fans away, and if so, the who do you blame, the weak [bleep] dude who gets manipulated by the media or the media who is doing their job maun?...i mean if i tell you there is a million dollars at the bottom of a cliff are you really gonna jump off?...would you really do it?

yea but still they had hamstring problems. thats all I was saying. bey wasnt getting open because he was going up against Nnamdi in most matchups. then he got a few in against johnson. but Nnamdi will be on DHB the Majority of the time he is here. that only to make DHB Better cause if you can get by Nnamdi you can beat most corners in the NFL. Nnamdi the best.
The Media has been really all out here lately with a lil twist trying to extend stories and get more ratings like I said before you rarely hear about the player that handed out Turkeys to they hungry or the one that rebuild a house for a homeless or take time out to see the elderly or what not. But yea the loosing has drove the fans crazy i can agree with you on that. but they are really not beliving in the team. Even Aso belives like I do every season is our championship year we just have to play that way on the field and have the fans belive in us.

now Chaz Schilens, D.H.B, Louis Murphy, J.L.H, Walker, there maybe somewone added to the core as well. but far better choice of receivers, Bey is a Monster dont let the media fool yah he was on alot of people boards, The Giants, who have some of the best receivers from college Mario Manningham, Steve smith, the Ravens really wanted em but couldnt move up. the chargers had bey on their radar, He was a beast on the East, Matt Ryan & calvin Johnson vouched for DHB. Plus he is a Terp he is going to be a great player and a HOF. Vonte davis vouched for em. you see he is the sharpest rookie Receiver so far and will continue.

What.. al davis legacy cant be tarnished by loosing. if so the Pats are nothing. Al davis legacy is bigger than the Raiders Franchise he loves this franchise but his legacy is bigger than that. He is the first to hire a minority coach and players, also he is the reason the NFL is as big as it is, he has out lived his rivals, he is still shap as a tack, he owns a team that has a winning percentage over the entire NFL. come on you know better. The loosing hurts but hey he has championships and has owned this division for the longest. he brought out over 6 superbowl winning coaches, Mike Shannahan, John Gruden, John Madden, Tom Flores, Bill walsh, and Tom Cable Next in line..
The Tom Joyner Morning show is great and is televised, Tom Joyner is well respected by many radio shows who would tell you they wouldnt be [bleep] if it wasnt for tom blueprint, from the Steve Harvey show, to Big boi, to Jamie foxx, they are a little more outlandish. but Tom is the standard, he is televised. Tom Joyner is very respected in the industry, because alot of acts got their chance and 15 minutes thanks to that man, also the people that work there do alot of charity and have alot of events for the community.

yeah here is my point about the media...you notice how much you complain about them?...you are giving them the power when you do that....more importantly, whenver you log on, what you are doing is this, you are searching for "their" articles, not the other way around, and contrary to what you may think bro, you yourself post a lot of "positive" articles on oakland so you can't say the media is trying to tear them down.
